I typically wear size 10 clothing and this size 12 was a bit tight. I am 5'11" and athletic build with very long arms and broad shoulder and this dress was too tight across my shoulders and was a bit short for me. You can see the sleeves are nowhere long enough and nowhere close to the model picture! I wish this fit better because I love the thick suede-like material.

I normally wear size 10, but due to the other reviews, I ordered a 12L &14L. The 12 fit okay but was a little baggy. I wish I went with a 10L & 12L as back up size. The length was okay, but wished it was a little bit longer for a tall girl who wanted to wear heels! The material on this dress was VERY Thick and slick which I liked because it was one of the more comfortable dresses I have worn. Also the dress is Navy versus some of the descriptions that state Black. I'm not sure the peplum detail & waist seam really flattered my bulky/athletic figure but I had a ton of compliments throughout the night.

Really liked this dress! Pros: Perfect to wear with simply black heels. Loved the scalloped lace on the bottom and sleeves! Got many compliments! Cons: I am pretty tall and I expected it to be short (like every other dress I have worn). It was only uncomfortably short when sitting down, which I only did during the ceremony and dinner. *Thank goodness for tableclothes to cover up*. The size 10 was a little baggy around the midsection, but wasnt bad. A size 8 would have fit better but would have been WAY too short. I was actually glad for the extra material around the waist when on the dance floor.
