Awkward and impractical in spite of its beauty and elegance!
I did not wear this garment even though I loved the fabric, the designer and the print. It was not practical and I don't think it suits my body type. I have a wide ribcage. The buttons are difficult to open and even with all of them unbuttoned this 100% silk gown has no give at the high-waist seam. I barely got in and out of it without dislocating an arm bone (humerus). Also, I found the shape of the bust to be odd and puff out to the sides - so unflattering.

Great dress! Formal, elegant and good for dancing!
I got lots of compliments on this dress. It was actually my first RTR rental. I wore the 6R with platform heels - it is a bit long otherwise, but because of the cutout in front it was easy to walk and dance in. The back didn't give me too much trouble. I tried a silicone bra with it which was perfect.

This is a beautiful, classy elegant gown. I had a lot of extra room in the bust, but could make it work with the right bra. I found it was a little too dark for the event I was going to and the 6R definitely required 4 extra inches of shoe height for me to wear it. Might rent this for a future fancy dress!!

I didn't wear this because it was way too long!
This might have fit me in a 6P. That's my choice size when it comes to tops, blazers and some gowns, but Petite doesn't seem to be very available at RTR. I'm between 5'3 and 5'4 and 135lbs and with 4 additional inches of height from my shoes this dress was still dragging on the ground. I would have tripped on it there was so much extra fabric at the hem. Also, plenty of room in the bust area which makes me think the petite might have been right for me in this instance.

Loved the dress. Didn't wear it - too long!
I'm 5'4 and 135 pounds and would describe myself as a straight body type though too athletic to be called narrow. The cut is shaping and I would have loved to wear this dress. I'm not going to wear it because even with platform heels it is too long. The 6P was unavailable otherwise I would have ordered that. You definitely want to be comfortable showing off cleavage to wear this dress. Side note: the one star off is because it's awfully hard to zip the zipper - you will want to have someone who can help you.
