I have a long torso, and slightly pear shaped, and this dress really worked. It is tight, but the material is thick and stretchy at the same time, so it was very work event-appropriate. The neckline is gorgeous. I am 5'2 and got a size small and it hit a few inches below my knees. I received tons of compliments. I can see this working for people with both small and large chests.

I am usually a size 0 or 2 in Jcrew/Ann taylor/express dresses. I read the reviews and I sized up to a 4. I could not even zip this up my back nor could I fit this over my upper arms. The slit was nearly touching my butt and the dress was uncomfortably tight on my thighs. Perhaps I should have gone up to a 6?
