I rented this dress for my office's annual holiday party. I knew I didn't want to wear black, and I wore white two years earlier, so I opted for a color that I never wear: green. And I'm so glad that I did! The dress was comfortable and I did not expect to feel as beautiful as I did wearing it. I had people stop me at my party to compliment the dress, and I had people at work the next week tell me how beautiful the dress was. A coworker of mine got to the party late but she was able to find me quickly because she said that I stood out from everyone else. I wore this dress with nude suede heels which worked perfectly because the shoes blended into my legs making the dress the real statement piece. PROS: Comfortable; gorgeous green color; the neckline is feminine but not too showy (I'm not a cleavage kind of gal); perfect length CONS: I wish this dress didn't have pockets. I know, I KNOW, that seems to be the main selling point for everyone else in the reviews but I felt that the pockets only added more roominess to my hips that I didn't care for. It was probably only noticeable by me but I didn't care for it, and having my hands in my pockets only enhanced the width. That said, don't get me wrong I would totally wear this dress again!

While this bag looks great from a distance it's smaller than I expected. I was hoping for a bag that looked like a standard briefcase but this just won't work for me. It's 11.5'' wide, about 9'' tall, and the depth will expand to about 4''.

I wasn't impressed with this bag. I guess it's as large as I thought it would be, but I felt it looked too cutesy when I wore it. Plus the strap is too long for my taste. You're able to adjust the strap, if you're lucky enough to be able to open the difficult "snap", but you're only able to shorten the strap by about an inch total. Clearly the option to shorten the strap is just for looks. The only plus side of this bag is that it's able to carry more than you may think. I was able to comfortably carry my keys, phone, wallet, sunglasses, extra tote bag, kindle, and mp3 player, with room to spare.

When I first saw this dress in person I was thrilled. In my opinion it looks better in person than it does online. The sleeves are a bit tight so I can see this being an issue for some. If you have muscular arms you may want to size up just based on the tightness of the sleeves. I have slim to very slightly muscular arms and I was concerned when I first tried on the dress, especially because the sleeves are made with lace and you want to watch how much you tug on them. The dress fit perfectly. It was a bit short but it didn't seem that way so much until I had to bend down to buckle my shoe. Completely bum shot. Getting into a car = full bum. At dinner I had to make sure my napkin was always in my lap because I was afraid of making the group around me feel uncomfortable with how much thigh I was showing. Overall it's a great dress but I wouldn't advise wearing this to a conservative formal event or an event with older generations. My boyfriend's mom was definitely concerned with me flashing people.
