This dress was perfectly as described! Being 5'4", the dress hit slightly above the knee, so you can see it's easy to stay "appropriate". It was easy to slip on/off overhead (no zipper) and the lace photographs beautifully. The materials (lining/overlay) are both soft and not scratchy. Great dress for cocktails or wedding. If you like a tight fit in the abdomen, this dress is not for you. If you are self-conscious about your tummy or need something "bump-friendly" this dress is perfect for you!

The dress color is true to the photo but somehow appears more orange in real-life. This wasn't an issue for me. I have never rented from this designer but now I see why I always rent with TIBI. This dress was just not pressed properly (although I don't know if it's the drycleaner's issue or the dress material itself). The lining (nice touch) peeked out circumferentially along the hem. The bow was permanently folded (flopped over). The "collar" was rolled out and looked sloppy. Overall, this dress looks great on the model, but somehow the material is too soft to hold it's shape (doesn't look professional).

These bangles are beautiful. They really help to add sparkle and interest to a plain black outfit. Like a previous reviewer described, about 1/2 of the bangles had missing stones, but to the onlooker, this was not noticeable. What I loved most about these bracelets is the wearability. I could have chosen both arms and mixed/matched the bangles. Although these are great to rent, b/c of the crystal fall-out they are probably not worth the investment to buy.

The earrings did not have a scratch on them! Perfect! Although large and solid, they are not heavy at all and wore comfortably all night. Don't worry about the earrings being overpowering, they frame a face well and don't steal away from hair/makeup.

The first thing I noticed from is the quality! The lace is beautiful and lining sewn perfectly. Because I am petite, it hit low-mid thigh (completely appropriate). I did notice that the sleeves (unlike the body) were not lined. This is usually not a deal-breaker, however, would have been nice given the cooler weather (October in Michigan). Like a previous reviewer mentioned, the dress is very comfortable except for the sleeves (because they are lace) do not yield.

TIBI dresses run true to size! For smaller chested (A) women I recommend size 2. Larger busted ladies (anything more than a A) may feel more comfortable with a size 4. I couldn't fill out the top in this particular style, so I wore the 2. Luckily, this dress is very generous in the hips and stomach area, perfect for a "pear" shape. Very nice material, no worry about see-through.
