Such a classic Kate Spade piece...the color of the stones are a little more evergreen than black in person, but the color also shifts in the light. Not heavy or fatiguing on my ears; danced all night and my ears weren't sore or feeling like the earrings were going to fall off at any point. Love them so much I wanted to buy them by the end of my rental period.

The waist on the size 2 was a little bit tight, so I ended up going to the size 4. The upper back had a slight gape on the 4, but everything else fit like a glove. The pockets on the dress were perfect for keeping my phone with me for quick pics on the dance floor, and the neckline was sexy without revealing too much. The longer back of the dress took it from a cocktail dress to a special event dress which was perfect for that winter-wedding glamour. Colors were a little brighter in person than in the pictures, but I loved it even more when it arrived. I paired the dress with a cranberry faux fur jacket from Free People, Sam Edelman black suede block heels, and then the jewelry and bag were from the RTR site. Elderly couples at the wedding were the most complimentary of my ensemble, remarking that they liked my "mink" (aka the jacket); this told me that I had captured that classic put-together look of my grandparents generation while still achieving the edgy look of the fashion trends today. Women kept coming up to me and asking where I got my dress, and if they could borrow it. Such a fun and fabulous look to use to celebrate a wedding and the holidays! LOVE LOVE LOVED MY EXPERIENCE WITH RTR and am now a believer--I'll never buy another formal dress again!
