Size UP!
I rented this for my sister for her vacation - she is 13, 5'9" and usually wears a size 6. She is very athletic, and has a broad back and large bust, so we sized up to the 8, based on other reviews. Her favorite feature was the pockets, and she loved that she could wear sandals, and the back of the dress was still on the ground

The phone pocket!!
This bag is great- can't go wrong with classic Kate Spade, but the exterior phone pocket?!! That is the most amazing feature, and it makes me want to buy this purse...

size UP, if you have a large chest, size up TWICE!
I listened to the other reviewers and sized up. I should have sized up twice because of my bust size, though!! The fabric is lovely, but clingy/prone to static, and there is NO give. I will rent this again and size up one more time to see if it will accommodate my chest, because it really is a beautiful dress for work! **Update - sized up, got so many compliments. Size UP x2!

The seams in the bust were awkward, no matter what bra I tried this with, and the skirt was just a LOT of material. Felt a little frumpy.

This was my second time trying this dress (the original one that was sent was definitely altered and the skirt was above my knees!!) The good : Let me start by saying, this neckline is GORGEOUS. It's hard to find dresses for curvy women that are not mother of the bride/matronly or scantily innapropriate. (This lady needs a bra at all times). I loved having a V neck and a little arm covering that didn't make me look like a Pilgrim. The bad: Aaaand then I turned to the side while looking in the mirror and realized that my hips made me look like I was a cross between a southern belle in a loop skirt and a walking cupcake.

Obsessed with this dress!
I love a V neck with sleeves, for both everyday and formal events, so when I saw that this was available, I jumped to get it in my cart! I read the other reviews, and sized up - so grateful that I did!!! The fit& flare shape is so flattering on a curvy/hourglass figure, the neckline is attractive and still work appropriate. The length is a liiiiiittle short for work, but with solid black fleece tights, it's a great Friday day-to-night dress!
