I wore this as MOH in my friend's wedding. There were no backup sizes available, so I went with the 6R and crossed my fingers. I'm short-ish (5'3") and found that with high heels, the length was perfect. I did need to tape the sides of the bodice to avoid gaping, and I also wound up pinning the bottom of the open back, as it was slightly loose. There is extra room in the low hip area of the dress, which leaves lots of room for walking, dancing, and generally functioning as a human being.

My shoulders are a little broader than my hips, so I was worried the small wouldn't fit my upper body; but it was a perfect fit. The neckline does droop slightly, but I didn't think it looks sloppy. A note of caution that longer earrings easily get caught in the lace. The skirt was short enough to show some leg, but long enough that I could dance without fear of a flashing incident. Overall, the dress was comfortable and beautiful!

I rented this for a holiday party because I felt like dressing up for people who normally see me in my sweaty gym clothes at 6am. I was worried that the sleeves wouldn't fit my upper body, since I tend to have problems with sizing in the shoulders and upper arms of clothes; but I was pleasantly surprised to see the size 2 fit perfectly. The shoulders actually were a little loose, as other reviewers have said, but it wasn't a problem. I also had NO problems with gaping in the back. I wore a backless, strapless bra only for a little extra padding. The dress is definitely the shortest thing I've ever worn, but I felt like the high-cut front compensated for it. You're only young once! I didn't wind up with a good photo of it because I was too busy having fun.
