Even though the arm hole was a little tight, the dress fit great. Glad I sized down. The ruching is very forgiving and the split gave the dress the right amount of sexiness. I have to admit, I thought I would look like a Vegas showgirl or a bridesmaid; but this dress was wonderful for a Mardi Gras ball.

The jumpsuit fit perfect everywhere except the chest area. The drape was too big (and I'm a 34D). Unless you want to show a lot of cleavage and don't need the assistance of a bra, then you are in luck. It is a very sophisticated looking jumpsuit. I wish I could've worn it; it just required too much to pull it off. Perhaps if I had a longer torso, it would have worked out.

I love this dress. I wore it to a wedding (I was the event hostess) and it was simply beautiful to wear. I blended right in with the bridemaids, which was a plus! Runs a bit large, but the dress is meant to be worn snug to the body (per previous reviews) so I felt comfortable wearing the 38 instead of the 40. Very elegant and the length was perfect with 4" heels (I'm 5'1"). Cant imagine anyone taller than 5'4" wearing a heel with this dress. Didn't have pasties, so I wore a strapless bra with the dress (wouldn't advise it unless absolutely necessary - luckily it did not show). Again, I love this dress!

Wore this dress to my boyfriend's fraternity Mardi Gras event. I wasn't sure about wearing black to a black tie event; but when I saw how unique this dress was, I was confident that it would make me stand out in a sea of black dresses. My boyfriend liked the dress on the website; but fell in love with it when I put it on. I felt like a million bucks. Everyone loved the dress! Pros: The fit was amazing. I didn't need to try on the backup dress (42; wore the 40). Due to European sizing, I was expecting the dress to fit tight. It was perfect. The fabric is a little heavy, but it came in handy in a well air-conditioned ballroom. Cons: Quite surprised when the dress arrived that it was made out of polyester, given its high-end appeal. The seams along the "train"/drape in the back were unfinished. The dress arrived in a damp garment bag; however, both dress inside were protected by plastic garment bags. Not really a con, but I had to wear REALLY HIGH heels in order to not have the train drag too much. Ended up holding it while on the dance floor. But I knew this would be an issue when I rented the dress. Overall, I would highly recommend this dress.
