MLK Weekend Wedding
This dress was my second choice. The Badgeley Mishka Bell Sleeve dress was unavailable to ship. When I first tried it on, I was disappointed. I thought that it seemed to balloon out in the lap area. However, I tried it on again the morning of the wedding and asked my husband to zip it all the way, not having been able to do that myself (as many other reviewers have pointed out). He immediately said it fits in all the right places. A bonus for me was no spanx and no bra- the lace plunge is sexy without being revealing. With hair, makeup, and a nude platform heel I ended up loving this dress and also received great compliments. It was also very comfortable and great to dance in!

This was my back up. I didn't end up wearing it.
This was my "back-up"- it was too tight for me through the bust and ribs. As a result, it felt too short in the front. I ended up wearing the Marchesa I also ordered.

I wore this for a black tie wedding last February- I received many compliments.
It felt a little snug through the rib cage and the arms but the size 10 felt too loose. Some of the flower appliqué had to be steamed as they were wrinkled from shipping but overall, a very pretty dress. Paired it with a nude peep-toe pump, and sapphire drop chandeliers.
