I wore this to my brother's wedding. It was 95 degrees that day and this dress is light and airy. When I first put it on, my husband thought I was naked underneath. Of course, he thought it was super sexy, but not exactly the response I was hoping for given I was about to be around lots of grandmas and great aunts. It's kind of baggy, and ill-fitting in the waist, the bodice is too short, and it's a very plunging neckline. I feel like if the bottom of the waist dropped two more inches it would have been more flattering. I'm wondering if the bodice is too short because it's a very popular dress to rent and it's shrunk or something. I mother of the bride said I looked like a butterfly. Once again, a confusing comment. So, basically, I felt like I looked like a naked butterfly. Hmm.

I wore this to my brother's rehearsal dinner. I was giving a speech that night so I needed to be comfortable. This dress is both beautiful and comfortable. I wore the size 6 because the 4 was not available. The size 4 probably would have fit better, but since I needed to be relaxed and able breath, I loved this dress. Please note that the dress comes in two pieces: a nude colored slip and a lace sheath dress.

The dress is a very well made little, black, knockout of a dress! I noticed right away that it's quite heavy compared to most of the dresses I own that are this silhouette. The heaviness of the material is a sign of the exquisite quality. The lace embroidery is absolutely gorgeous on the front and back. The dress is supposed to be a fitted. The size 6 was too big in the hips, the size 4 was perfect, but something was off with the zipper. It would catch at the waist part and was extremely hard to zip all the way to the top. Thank goodness my husband was with me to help me zip it up because it would've been impossible to zip on my own. My husband had to give it quite a few tugs to the point I thought the zipper would break. As I started questioning why I ate pizza for lunch, my husband assured me that it wasn't me, it was the zipper. LOL! RTR, please take a look at the zipper on the size 4.
