Wore this dress to a holiday party and received tons of compliments! The black velvet fabric is stretchy and comfy. I loved how I looked in the dress and it photographed beautifully. There are a few issues: I had to pin the top part to my bra to keep it from flipping over and being exposed. I’m sure if I was bustier it would have stayed up, however, the dress would not have fit or zipped. Also, as someone who is 5’9” the dress hit at the ankle so I couldn’t wear anything more than a kitten heel. Looked and felt glamorous all evening!

Dress is true to size and as other renters have mentioned, doesn't have any give on the waistline. I was happy that the waist sat at my natural waist, so it was comfortable for me. The fabric was lightweight and lovely and the dress was flattering. The only issue I had was with tying the bow in the front of the dress. I ended up twisting and tucking the bow into the dress, which provided a bit more coverage.

I rented this dress for a Night in White Charity event and received compliments all night. I usually wear a 6 but went up to an 8 because when I tried putting on the 6 I couldn't get it past my hips. The material is surprisingly stretchy and thick so I loved that. Only downside with a pear shape body was the top kept coming down and I had to tug it back up. Wearing the sleeve helped and maybe wearing a bra that goes lower would help.

This dress was an absolute pleasure to wear. The dress sat at my natural waist, which at 5'9" is usually a challenge. The back is lacy and see through so I wore a backless bra but probably could have pulled off a nude regular one. It was comfy, flattering, and classic. Definitely one I will try to find to buy and wear again!

After reading tons of reviews I still decided to rent this dress. It is probably my least favorite rental thus far, and I should have heeded others advice. First, the dress is super duper skin tight. I had to slowly work the zipper up and then felt like it showed every lump and bump, even though the fabric was thick. The sequins does scratch under the arm and the neckline might be more flattering on someone who has more bust. It did look cute under a jacket and I did like the color scheme. Probably not best for a pear-shaped body. Glad it was just to attend a Las Vegas show!

I wore this dress to my brother's graduation celebration. The dress runs true to size and I was able to wear a standard strapless bra without it being noticed. I love dresses with pockets so this made me incredibly happy. The material was soft and comfortable. Only thing I run into being 5'9" is that the dress hit my mid-thigh, which is accurate for what you see on the model. The dress didn't ride up much when I was seated so that was nice as I didn't want to be pulling it down or adjusting throughout the evening.

This dress has been one of my favorites from RTR! It was body contouring, as others have mentioned and as you can see from the picture. The back is very low and it's recommended to wear a stick-on bra. It was incredibly flattering and I received endless compliments all night. 10/10 would rent again!

Absolutely one of my favorite RTR dresses ever! It was definitely body contouring (bodycon) but worked stupendously! I have big hips and was worried that the dress would accent them too much, but the pattern on the dress and a pair of spanx underneath made it flawless. The material was very comfortable and I received endless compliments all night. Definitely a 10/10!

The dress was true to size and was very comfortable! Similar to what other people had posted, it looked better with a belt to give the waist some definition, as it was quite flowy. The only downside was that the sleeves cut right into my armpit so they were a bit raw after wearing it for a few hours. Otherwise, completely lovely and received many compliments!

This dress was lovely and flattering! The quality of the material was excellent and it was nice and warm. The only reason it wasn't a five star dress was that it ran large in the bust; I had to pin the center shut to keep from opening up.

I rented this dress with the sole purpose of using it to go out. It was very flattering, form fitting, but comfortable. I ordered a size 6 and a size 4 and wore the 6. The cut-out on the chest was very flattering and added a bit of edginess to the dress. I am also not a busty individual, but this definitely helped enhance it. Overall, for a simple sheath dress it was exactly what I wanted.

I wore this dress to an outdoor, country-style wedding. I thought I was going to be a little over-dressed, but the dress fit like a glove, was incredibly flattering, and very comfortable. I had read the reviews and got a size 4 and a size 6, since I was more concerned about the bust being too big. True to size, a 6 was what I went for. It was also amazing because having a pear-shaped body and hips, I was afraid the dress was going to be too short and make me look wide. The good thing about tulle is you can make a dress as fluffy or flat as you want. I initially puffed it up, but smoothed the back down to keep from the dress getting even shorter. It was a lovely dress and people stopped me all night to tell me how beautiful the dress was. There was another girl at the wedding with the same dress in blue (from here as well!), and I had people tell me they liked the red better. Definitely would recommend!

So, this was my first RTR rental. I had read the reviews and decided to get both a 6L and 8L (since I heard that it ran short) and usually wear a 6. Though the 6L fit very snugly, I decided to go for the 8L which was a bit longer and a little less glove-like. It looked fantastic, but it definitely hugs the hips and a little loose in the bust. Overall it was an amazing rental and perfect for a wedding!
