This dress was a BEAUTIFUL color and I really wanted it to work. I ordered a10 from recommendations and because I have wider hips/butt and because I don't think an 8 was available, however, this made the dress way too big for me everywhere else. The top portion looked like I was wearing a long sleeved tshirt, rather than a figure hugging dress, and the sleeves were especially unflattering being about an inch too loose at the wrist. A 6 or 8 may have worked better for me.

The dress itself is beautiful and I love the details, however, being 5'2"-5'3" the dress came down to my mid calf which was unflattering on my short frame. The dress also seemed to run a little small. I am normally an 8 and the Large was very snug in the hip area, but was a little loose in the bust (34C). Ultimately, I decided to wear a different dress I had rented, but I think this dress would be beautiful and work great for a taller, straighter figure.

The fit was very slimming, it was tight and had boning in the waist to keep your figure. It ended right below the knee on me, which I wanted, and I loved the off the shoulder cut. It did get a little uncomfortable when sitting due to the waist structuring, but it was nothing that would deter me from renting this dress again.
