Buttons are impossible!
This is a really cute romper but the buttons take forever to work and it makes going to the bathroom a very frustrating affair. Buttons also start halfway down your chest so your bra is showing and it’s not well thought out.

Itchy and unomfortable
The pattern and fabric are really nice, but the cut is odd--too tight over the best, and these weird fabric flaps line the the neckline on the inside and are itchy and awkward.

Perfect yellow!
This color is just perfection, and the fit is elegant and loose. I wore in first and second trimester and felt chic and comfortable. Fabric breathes well. You do need to wear nude undergarments, otherwise they show through.

This was not a home run because the fabric is polyester and has no stretch, so it felt kind of restrictive in the shoulders and made me feel sweaty by end of day. The design also felt dowdy. Pregnant women deserve better!

Not very flattering
I like loose, straight dresses, but something about the way this hung did not do my figure any favors. I have a large bust and hour-glass figure. I dunno, with accessories I made it work for a one time wear, but didn't feel comfortable taking off the duster I wore it with.

Dramatic, festive dress
The dress is too long and shorter ladies will need heels, but otherwise I really enjoyed wearing it for the holidays. I needed a cami for the plunging neckline and undid the waist bows so they hang down like sashes. It’s busy and a little over the top but in a way that a confident, fashion-forward person can definitely pull off.

Festive, flattering
This is a great holiday dress, lovely on an hour-glass figure. You have to tie the bow properly for it to look right. I rented this dress in the green as well, but found the red to be more elegant and understated.

Several Sizes Too Small
I have rented countless Derek Lam dresses in size 44 and they always fit perfectly. This one was nowhere near being able to zip. It was the biggest sizing error I've ever encountered through RTR--just way way off.

Comfortable Milkmaid Attire
For the large-busted, the cut of the bodice makes your chest look even bigger. Coupled with giant sleeve-puffs, the effect is top-heavy and overly buxom.

Frumpy in the back
The pattern is crisp and fabric feels great, and it looks pretty good from the front, BUT there is all this extra fabric in the back that gets lumpy and poofy when you tie the belt and it's just not very flattering when seen in profile or from the back.

Fun, slightly costumy dress
It’s really comfortable and color is great, but several gripes: makes large bust look boxy, top-heavy—maybe it’s the pocket placement? Wrinkles very easily, especially belt. Arm buttons don’t close—are they meant to be open? The result is not really flattering/cool enough to pull off the super flouncy cut.

So unflattering but comfortable
I wear loose-fitting dresses all the time, but this one was just wildly unflattering. The pockets made my hips look enormous and it billows out right on your stomach so I looked pregnant. It is comfortable, I’ll give it that.

Cute but Matronly
The fit is a bit frumpy, making my bust and hips look bigger/wider, but the fabric is so soft and the dress is so comfortable that I still loved wearing it. The buttons on the chest did gape open and show my bra underneath even though the dress was big on me, but it looked kind of intentional and not bad. Pom poms are super cute.

Wrinkly but Cute
This wrinkles really easily and is a tad short (even on a 5'3" girl"), plus the hips/tummy fit is a little tight and tends to show imperfections, so shapewear was needed, but overall, a terrific color and fun to wear.

Bizarre Holes Cover Dress
I couldn't wear this because the dress is completely see-through due to the actual holes in the fabric that run along both sides. I'm not one to wear slips, but that's the only way to make this work. It's too heavy and scratchy to use as a beach coverup.

Bland and oversized but VERY COMFORTABLE
RTR suggested the LARGE size, which was supposed to be a size 8. It fit more like a 10/12, so I definitely should have gotten a MEDIUM, my usual size. The neckline is super low, but that was fixed with a white lace camisole that added to the "medieval lady in waiting" style. I ended up wearing this all the time because it's so comfortable and the material just feel amazing. I'm considering renting again in a smaller size to see if I want to buy it. I do wish the pattern wasn't as bland, but alas.

I'm 5'3" and the dress pooled on the ground around me, totally unwearable. The annoying part is that the length was listed incorrectly on the website as 55.5" when in fact it's about 58". Hopefully they will correct that. This one is for taller ladies only.
