UPDATED REVIEW: I LOVE THIS DRESS!!
I had previously reviewed this item, but I felt like I had to update my review to emphasize how much I LOVE THIS DRESS! It arrived new with tags when I first began to show, and I have kept it throughout my entire pregnancy. It can easily be dressed up or down, I've worn it on several occasions, it is so flattering, I've gotten many compliments, it shows up great in photos, I could go on and on! I even wore it for my baby shower. I plan on transitioning it for fall with a jacket and booties.

Bond Girl fabulous!
My husband got a last minute invite to a gala fundraiser, and the only guidance they gave on the dress code was that it was James Bond-themed. What exactly does that mean, and how do I come up with an outfit with less than a week's notice?? Rent the Runway to the rescue! In my mind, Bond Girl = sequins, so I went for this pink sequined Jay Godfrey number. One cool thing about this dress (that you can't really see from the model photos) is that the sequins kind of "swish" back and forth and make a cool design/texture. Only a size 0 was left and I was concerned about it being a tight fit based on previously Jay Godfrey rentals, however the 0 fit me fine and actually felt more like a 2. The size 0 was very short, however, so that is something to consider. This probably wasn't my favorite rental, but it did the trick on short notice!

I rented this romper for my bachelorette party in Vegas and wore it to see Magic Mike. I usually wear a 0 but RTR was out of that size so I decided to give the 2 a try. The 2 fit well and zipped perfectly over my chest area, however I have no way of knowing how it would have compared to the 0. It was definitely cute, comfy, and just the right amount of sexy.

Bachelorette Bombshell
I rented this dress for my bachelorette party in Vegas. As with other Lively dresses that I've rented, I'm right between a size 0 and 2. I decided to wear the 0 since I was in Vegas after all! It was definitely tight but some Spanx helped me out.

I rented this dress for a friend's wedding. I'm 5'1", 110 lbs, and a 32DD and I typically wear a 0. I ordered a 0 and a 2 as my backup size. I was truly on the fence as to which size to wear; the 0 zipped fine but was pretty tight and the 2 allowed more room in the hips and booty. I decided to suck it up, wear Spanx and went with the 0 because I am short and didn't want the dress to be so long. I felt like a Barbie and got lots of compliments on the 'gram.

Comfortable for a night of dancing
I was definitely between sizes on this dress. The XS fit me better length-wise and in the bottom-half, but it would not zip over my larger bust. I ended up wearing the small, which was more comfortable for eating, drinking, and dancing!

Festive floral for a summer wedding
I rented this dress for a hot summer wedding. The material was light weight and kept me cool during a summer afternoon and evening in southern California. The top of the dress fit well and was not too tight on my chest, but the length was too long, even in wedges. I wore it anyway and just carried it when I walked and danced. I would say that the only con for me was the length.

Cute and comfy, perfect for tearing up the dance floor!
I wore this dress for my work holiday party; I even convinced three other friends to rent dresses as well. This dress was cute, comfortable, and conservative enough for a work function. A lot of people had reviewed it as short, however I'm short to begin with and I wore the larger of my two sizes, and I felt like it was just the right length with plenty of room to move and dance in. The more substantial fabric was perfect for a winter party and the style transitioned well to the bars for our after party. Definitely a winner, I will be renting again soon!
