I am 6 months pregnant. I am usually a size 2 and the 4 fit my bump just fine. The only place it was tight was in the neckline/ bust (i am currently a 34-36C). It is beautiful and comfortable and very flattering to my ever changing pregnant body. I wore this to a Italian chic garden wedding and fit right in. This dress is very special. I received compliments on it all night. This dress has it all: comfort, elegance, beauty and it's quite fun to walk in. I wore it with 3-4 inch heels and the length seemed to work fine for the most part. I would definitely recommend this dress to women of most shapes and sizes. Although, not for busty gals.

This dress is stunning, however, too large in the shoulders. I am 6 months pregnant and the size 4 fit overall, but the shoulders were just way to big for my pear shaped frame. I'm a 34-36C right now and the dress fit in the bust but shoulders were way to big on me. It looked very matronly on me. I would not recommend it for someone with a petite upper body. The design in the hips was also not super flattering (lots of drapey material), but I would have looked past that if the top fit better. That said, the dress is a beautiful true soft mint and very elegant. I wish I could have worn it, but I went with my second option instead. I would recommend this beautiful dress to someone with broader shoulders and narrow hips.

I wore this dress to an Emmy after party. In a sea of mostly long dresses, this dress was fun, sexy and comfortable. The dress is made very well. No bothersome sequins to scratch you...not too delicate to move around in. The fit: It was fitted but not cinching. It showed off my shape but still allowed me to move in a relaxed way. Quality: Perfect. Seemed like it was brand new. Paired with the Margaret Elizabeth black dream chaser earrings, it was a perfect blend of edge and glamour. Highly recommend for a cocktail wedding, prom, or industry event.

This dress is very beautiful however, I did not end up wearing it to my event. The color is a rich yellow. The lace is very beautiful. I worried that the size 2 would be too small as the other reviews said this dress ran small. The 2 fit fine but it was not super flattering on my frame. I think this would work better on a slightly taller girl. (I am 5' 4") The dress has a pronounced waistline slightly above your natural waist. For some reason this did not flatter my stomach area. I am curvy but my stomach is flat and in this dress I looked like I had a little tummy. Perhaps it was the thick fabric or the defined waistline but that combined with the conservative length, I didn't feel my absolute best. My husband liked it on me but I think that's because the chest area is very low cut and revealing. I will say it made my butt look great. But that was the only part of the dress I felt good about. The sleeves really were the deal breaker. They are VERY loose. My dress had a set of strings in the back that helped them stay up a bit but they seamed out of place. They seemed like the strings were added as a solution to the problem and not part of the original design? I think Hollywood tape would have helped, but I would have needed a lot of it. All that said, I inevitably chose to wear my alternate dress. I recommend this dress to women 5' 6" and taller. It's so beautiful but it requires a more statuesque body. Side note: The staff at RTR made this whole process painless. This dress was sent to me last minute because my orginal dress came back to them unwearable. Despite this dress not working either, they were always solutions oriented and determined to make sure I was happy. I was never worried about it not working out.

I loved this dress! It was a last minute switch from my original RTR rental, but I've wanted to wear this one for a long time and I'm glad I finally did. I received tons of compliments from total strangers through out the night all saying what an amazing dress this is. I got a lot of "Black Swan" and "Ballerina with an edge." This dress is definitely unique and unlike most of the other dresses out there. The fit is VERY comfortable. The length: It's short, but I wasn't feeling exposed at all. (This coming from a girl with a prominent butt.) Despite the dress being fun & flirty it was still very elegant. It was a very refreshing change for me since I typically wear long and conforming gowns. Overall, I highly recommend this dress.

This dress was perfect for the cocktail style wedding I just attended. I wanted something elegant but not too formal. The fit was perfect minus the low cut neckline. I was worried I may come out of it when we danced but I was not wearing any Hollywood tape. (Probably would have been less worried with that.) I am a 32C and would not recommend this dress for anyone bigger than a B/C. The lace up back is really beautiful. I suggest you tie it as tight as possible as it loosened up a little bit as the night went on. Overall a very well constructed dress that has a lot of versatility depending on how it's accessorized. Timeless, elegant with a little bit of edge.

The rental experience: I could not wait to review this dress. This dress was sent to me by the amazing staff at RTR to replace my original rental that was not wearable. I can not say enough nice things about the customer service at RTR. They turned a stressful situation into a happy one. Not only did this dress fit well, it was PERFECT on so many levels. I thought my last rental was my favorite but this one just outdid it. The Dress: It is made with a stretchy material that works well with most body types. It held me in without feeling too much like I was in a sausage casing. It's very tight, but moved with me instead of into me. It highlighted my curves and really made me feel good about myself. Be prepared to stand very straight in this dress. If you let go of your core it will show. Not for anyone who is hoping to hide a troublesome stomach area. I wore 4 1/2 inch heels with it and the length was ok. Probably could have gotten away with 3 inch heels but I love a tall shoe. QUALITY of the dress was good. There were a few sharp pieces of boning that were starting to pop out but I just put on a band air underneath where it was sticking out and it kept it from touching my skin. The COLOR is tricky. You'll note that it looks completely different in my photos depending on the light. I'd say the muted color is more true. But it pops very bright with flash photography. I wanted the dress to speak for itself so I didn't want to pile on too much jewelry. I wore the Badgley Mischka Crystal Cluster earrings and they worked perfectly. Just enough glamour for a black tie event but still classy, elegant and clean. All in all a great rental experience. Got loads of compliments and felt really good in the dress. Highly recommend.

This dress is incredible! I wore it for an engagement shoot. It lays well on the body and moves even better. Unfortunately the dress seemed to have a stain on it when I received it, but luckily it didn't show in my engagement photos. There were also a few repairs on the dress from a previous renter. Again, these repairs did not show up in my pictures. There was a good amount of wind where we were taking our pictures and this coupled with the amazing amount of fabric made the dress look so theatrical. I couldn't have asked for a better dress. Length was good for my height. Be aware that there is a giant slit that will reveal your legs when you walk. Also, be prepared to use Hollywood tape to keep your girls from getting too exposed. You can definitely wear this dress sexy or more conservative depending on how you use your tape. Not for busty women. Favorite rental ever!

I was looking for something to wear for my rehearsal dinner before my wedding. I married into a Chinese family and needed something traditionally red and conservative yet still ME. This dress worked out pretty well. Color was great. Bold, retro type red. Fit: I ordered a 2 & a 4 based on reviews saying to size up, but wished I had a 0. It was a little big but not too noticeable. Quality was great.

Loved this Theory dress. Great color, great fit. Only issue is that it wrinkles very easily. Just sitting in it will wrinkle it. Looked a little less polished than I would have liked, but it was still very chic, modern and comfortable. Beautiful cut in the back. Not for busty girls at all.

There is a reason this dress has been rented so many times. It's because it's a show stopper. It takes over the night. I rented this dress twice. The first time was for my engagement shoot. It reflects light, catches light...it does it all. It's heavy, but it stayed up without Hollywood tape. I am 5'4" and wore it with 4 1/2" heels. It was a smidge shorter than I would have wanted. I rented the long version the second time (after party dress for my wedding) and it was WAY too long to wear. I posted photos from my engagement shoot. Most of my photos were black and white but I posted a couple that reflect the movement and overall look of the dress. Recommendations: It's very striking and would be inappropriate at anything other than a black tie event. Too much for a standard run of the mill wedding in my opinion. This would be perfect for Black tie wedding, Hollywood event like the Emmys, Golden Globes or Oscar Party, or a photo shoot like I did.

I've rented a few Badgley Mishka's in the past and they all worked really well on my body type. My body was definitely lost in this one. The dress wore me, I certainly did not wear the dress, so to say. It hugged me in weird spots and didn't hug where it should have. The color is definitely more of a pink than champagne. Not flattering to my olive toned skin. I rented this to be my after party dress at my wedding but it looked terrible. Couldn't even post a pic. Sorry ladies. I recommend this dress for tall girls only. Like 5'7" and above. Also, not for girls with hips. Would drape better on someone more narrow and statuesque.

I've rented from RTR almost 10 times now and this was definitely one of my favorite rentals. The dress arrived in excellent shape. The color is a retro Mad Men type of red. So chic and elegant, but still youthful and fun. I am typically a size 2R, but the size 0R fit very comfortably. The dress had plenty of give to it and I was able to dance all night despite the column silhouette. I received so many compliments on it all night and truly wished I could keep this rental.

I wore this dress to a beach wedding and it was perfect. It was fun and flirty, but still very elegant. This dress worked really well on my curvy figure. It made me feel tall and lean and statuesque. Despite the attached slip being short, I did not feel like it was too revealing. There is enough of the dark overlay fabric that the sheerness was not a problem at all. Highly recommend this gorgeous dress.
