I was the center of attention at this evening's reception! This dress shows off all the right curves while hiding the bulges and muffin tops you don't want to highlight. The stretchy material makes it super comfortable to dance in all night long. While it looks low cut, the lining of the dress is thick and secure enough to ensure there are no mishaps throughout the night. Would definitely rent again for another showstopper!

I was looking for a stunning long-sleeved gown to wear for a formal event on an evening when the high was just 25 degrees! This dress was perfect. The cutout and mid-thigh slit show just the right amount of skin to be sexy yet comfortable. At 5'-2", the dress just swept the floor for me and I was able to get away with wearing kitten heels rather than 3"+ heels. I ended up going with the size 10. I could've made the size 8 work, but the size 10 was easier to get on around my hips and the dress does not stretch. Overall a 10 out of 10!

This was a great gown for an indoor banquet. The slit added just enough flair and sexiness without being too much, although I was very careful which legs I cross when I was sitting at the table. The material is high quality and reasonably thick to hide any unwanted bulges. I could've worn the MP or the LP, but went with the MP due to my height. The dress floats right about the floor with a pair of 2" heels for a woman of my height. Glad I didn't have to wear super high heels!

This was actually my back-up, BACK-UP dress after my original dress arrived smelly a little funky. As usual RTR customer service stepped in a saved the day. This dress was perfect! It was flowy, shapely, bright, and even had pockets! I think if I was a C-cup I probably could've filled out the bust a little more but I wouldn't recommend for a D-cup or bigger - there's not much stretch to the fabric. Very easy to accessorize and can go with black, gold, or silver shoes. Beautiful shiny and durable fabric is perfect for an indoor summer wedding or a fall wedding. Could even do winter with a cute fur. Will be looking for this dress when it goes on sale!

I've used RTR multiple times and have never had a bad experience. Unfortunately, this was not the best. Upon getting the dress, I realized that RTR did not send my back up size 4, but instead a totally different outfit in a size 2! Luckily the size 6 fit perfectly. A very elegant, simple black dress. The off-centered bow took some getting used to, but it actually made the dress more interesting. Loved the flowy skirt and strapless design. The fabric was very thick (perfect for a fall day in Chicago), but it cannot take pins or brooches! My biggest issue was that I did not feel like the dress was fully dry cleaned. There were a lot of bumps and folds in the dress that should have been removed with a steaming, and we're very visible due to the reflective fabric. I would probably purchase this dress for myself, but not the best rental experience. (still plan to rent again for Christmas though!)

This dress was perfect to stand out at a formal wedding with some pretty fashionable attendees. The strapless dress was structured enough that I never felt exposed, but still comfortable to sit down. The embroidery was BEAUTIFUL and easy to pair with an accented purse or shoes. The photo looks very blue, but it is quite dark. I liked the subtle blue hue to a dress that could've passed as black. The only downside is that the sleeves can feel a little restricting, but even with my fat upper arms, I was still able to hit some moves on the dance floor. Another winner!

Rented this for a black tie gala at the beginning of Spring, so I wasn't sure if I should go with something for cooler or warmer weather. The material is SO nice, very heavy to help it weigh down. In the wind, I didn't have to worry about my dress flying up! I love that this dress is easy to accessorize with, and if I had more time, I would have liked to play with more jewelry and a handbag. The hem line is wonderful! I'm only 5'2" and even though I'm not as tall as the model, it was very flattering for my figure. Only downside is that the bodice has NO give, so I had limited area to breath after dinner. Going a size up might not have fit elsewhere, but consider a larger size as your back up. The dress is very structured, so it manages to stay up as strapless dress even while dancing! Loved it, and will probably rent again, if not purchase. Also...pockets!

Wore this for my office holiday party. Although the back is open, it was a very tasteful dress and I felt very comfortable. Pros: POCKETS, flattering fit, easy to put on. I got a lot of compliments, and it was very easy to pair with silver accessories. Cons: Despite running true to size, the waist offers no give at all. When I tried it on, it felt very tight, so I took it easy on lunch the next day and drank a ginger ale before hand to lose some bloat! Even though the waist is tight, the top was quite loose, and I did not have the bust to totally fill it out. This didn't look obvious, so I ended up wearing it anyway. Overall, the dress isn't the best fit for the wide waist, small bust crowd, but it is so flattering that it can be overlooked. Also, POCKETS! Considering ordering your size and the size up.

Other reviews will note that this dress runs small, however, I found that it was true to size for anyone with a modest chest. If you're well-endowed, I would size up. I wore this dress for a Broadway show, and while it was a fitting style for that event, if you are looking for something a bit more eye-catching, this would not be my first choice. It's positives are that it was VERY comfortable, and can be worn with just about any shoe. While I was hoping it would be a little shorter and more fitting, it was not too much fabric or overbearing, which I was worried about because of the layering. The material is lightly crimped with an almost satiny feel, which you cannot tell by the pictures. Overall, a comfortable and modest dress for a formal event.

Rented this dress for a black tie banquet with a room full of architects, so I needed something that was unique. The picture was pretty true to the design, and I loved the pattern! The slit is very tasteful, and shows JUST enough leg! Since I assumed I was shorter than the model, I purchased pretty high heels to ensure that the dress wasn't dragging (about 3 1/2-4"), and had no issues walking. I received SO many compliments and even got a drink from one of the organization founders, and I felt like I really stood out in the room. The style notes suggested a red clutch, and I think it really tied the look together. Overall, the fit was OK, however, it allows for no stretching in the arm area. I have pretty broad shoulders and big arms for my size, so I had to go with the 6. Usually with my RTR dresses, I can go with the back up 4, but in order to cross my arms and be able to breathe, I went with my original size. While there was a tad bit of bunching around the waist, it was not noticeable and did not take away from the overall look. In the end, I loved this dress and felt so regal wearing it! I was bragging that I rented the dress and actually got it shipped directly to the hotel we were staying at (which was a big risk, but it worked out!). I was pretty nervous since there were no reviews yet, but I'm glad I took a risk and went with a totally different style.
