This was for a photo shoot in the local Scout Guide.
The fit was great. My issue is that the fabric was very very thick and heavy. I ordered this for a formal/dressy/sexy look and this read and felt more like a sweater dress than a dressy dress. Also, if you have long hair, and wear it down, the cutouts will disappear, which are the only really interesting detail about the dress. I'd say better for work than play.

Only the long was available, but I'm so glad I ordered it anyway! I wore sky high heels and it worked. WOW, this dress is amazing - so figure fitting, high slit and bare arm balance each other perfectly. The fabric is just the perfect thickness - not too heavy, but enough to smooth/hug/compress a tiny bit. I did wear shapewear underneath as it is body-con for sure. Absolutely love!

So this dress fit very well. I just didn't like the way the hem was short/straight on one side then the plunging lace on the other - it just seemed a little contrived. I'd say this read more "mother of the bride goes slightly daring" although if you like the look and the lace really well, I can recommend the fit. To me, it was just a little bit frumpy in a strange way.
