It’s well cut and I gave the polyester a chance even though I usually don’t buy or wear anything made from polyester. The static this dress produced was unreal. If this dress was in another fabric it would be amazing. Wore this with my Vince Emberly pointy toe mules and a leather bomber and was feeling pretty great. It should be noted that the polyester isn’t the really cheap version that is super shiny...it has some texture like silk does so it isn’t noticeable unless you touch it. I couldn’t take off a star for my fabric preferences as everyone is different.

I wore this a couple of times over a floral dress for some edgy contrast. Its really heavy weight cotton and stiffer than I would like, I wouldn’t call it comfortable. It’s OK but I wouldn’t rent it again, just an underwhelming piece with a boxy stiff fit.

I sent it back without wearing it when I saw that it needed a whole bunch of thought for an under layer....it’s see through..and I took off a star for that. I was planning on wearing it on a cruise. I was hoping to unzip the bag and for the dress to instantly solve my problems with cruise-ship dining room dress codes. It’s a nice dress...but I use RTR for the ease and my lack of time; I didn’t have time to figure out all of the required underpinnings before I catch my plane.
