This dress was so beautiful in person and I would have loved to have worn it but the size 8 was slightly too small for me. I was unable to zip it on my own and my husband struggled to get the zipper past the waist band. I think it would have fit well if the zipper would have been better. I didn't want to chance not being able to zip it the day of the event so I didn't end up wearing it.

I was surprised that this dress looked as good as it did on me. The material is on the thicker side so it would work better for a fall/winter event. I got the 12R because the 10R was unavailable. The length was perfect for me at 5'3 and the material hide any imperfections but I ended up going with a different dress for this event due to the top being just a touch too big on me. I could have made it work with some fashion tape, but I didn't like the way the material bunched in the back on me.

This gown was stunning on just too big for me in the top. I think a 10 would have fit better for me but the 12 was all that was available. The straps were long as others have mentioned. I could have pinned them and used some fashion tape to make this gown work but I ended up going with a different dress for this event.
