3/4 dresses I had ordered (2 dresses in 2 sizes) were canceled 2 days before the event. Got this one as an emergency replacement, and boy I was happy. It was not my normal style, but it fit perfectly and looked amazing. It runs very true to size. I'm 5'7 and wore 4-inch heels, and the L just worked (any taller and it would have been too short). There's a slit in the back that helps with walking, and makes the dress flow really nicely. There is a LOT of skin shown, but in very flattering way. If you're not comfortable with them, they can be tough. I loved this dress so much, would love to wear it again, and am so glad that what could have been a horrible situation ended up perfect.
