This dress arrived as a replacement, and it was gorgeous in person. Once I put it on, I literally floated down the hallway. The colors and pattern were bold and punchy. I wore the dress to my exhibition's opening reception and dinner, and I received compliments from everyone. With 4-inch heels, the back hem just barely lifted off the floor, so there was no trailing and no tripping on the hem. I was comfortable all night standing, sitting, and walking in this dress. I did not have to wear a bra, especially since the top part was a tad too big for my bust size, but no matter, since the heavier fabric allowed the top to keep its shape even without the bra. I love this dress!

This shirt dress was perfect in every way: the silk was soft, the astrological design was whimsical, and the fit was right for my frame and build (5'8", 125 lbs, 34A): the elasticized waist and ties gave me some definition while maintaining a blouson effect on top. The skirt portion was lined as well, so there was no see-through. The skirt also fell to just above my knees, so it was appropriate for work. I wore it topped with a cardigan, since the office is cold! This dress was part of my Unlimited membership, and believe me, I was tempted to buy it.

I rented this dress for my work holiday party, and totally loved the fun and festive feel of the dress. I was 25 weeks pregnant at the time, and the layers draped very nicely over my belly (I wore a size 2; I'm 5'8" and 132 lbs). I must say, with the belly, the hem was hiked even higher than usual, but I prepared for this by wearing black tights. The only drawback to this dress was that the boning at the bust dug into the top of my belly a bit, but it was not too uncomfortable nor unmanageable.

I wore this dress to a cocktail event for work. I'm 20 weeks pregnant (5'8" and 128 lbs), so I was looking for the right silhouette for my growing belly. The draping on this Helmut Lang dress was PERFECT for the belly! I felt super comfortable all night. Some warning: the color is more gray than "navy," and the hem rides up seriously high when I sat down for dinner. Since I had a napkin over my lap, this wasn't an issue. I highly recommend for draping a belly during early pregnancy.
