A little big

Baggy, but not in the good way
I love a loose, baggy, low rise jean, so I was excited to try these. Unfortunately these just weren’t it. Even with relaxed denim there’s an art to how the volume is balanced, and that felt lost here. They were simply too big everywhere. Very wide through the hips and legs with a lot of extra room through the crotch. For context, I have curvier hips and legs, so this usually isn’t an area I struggle to fill out, but these still looked oversized in an unflattering way. The fabric is very soft, which is nice, but it doesn’t feel like denim and made the jeans drape a bit oddly. Overall the look felt sloppy rather than intentionally relaxed. I think there are definitely better ways to do the loose, baggy jean silhouette.

Does the body no favors
I rented this with the matching balloon pants and unfortunately the full set looked dumb on me. Together it was just a huge amount of fabric. With the stark white color, boxy silhouette, and very crisp fabric, the whole look was giving mental institution uniform. I’d recommend sizing down if you try this top. It might work better styled with slimmer pants, but the cut is so boxy that it’s honestly hard to envision a combination where this becomes a particularly flattering top.

Cute idea, but SO much volume
This set looks so chic in the photos and I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, in person the volume was pretty intense and the silhouette looked comical on me. I looked like I’d escaped from a very chic monastery or a wellness cult. I’m usually between an XS and S and went with the S since that’s what the models are listed as wearing. I’m not sure how they made it look so streamlined on the models, but I suspect some of the fabric was strategically pinned back. I wish I’d sized down, though I’m not sure that would have fixed the proportions and excess fabrics . I think this could work for someone who is fashion-forward and comfortable with dramatic silhouettes. But if you’re like me and just looking to dip your toe into the balloon-pant trend, this set is probably a bit extreme. I’d save the rental spots for something you’re more likely to wear.

Holy buttons
This jacket has so much potential, but the number and complexity of buttons is comical. I almost felt like it was a prank. I think if styled well, this could look great. But the jacket would be the outfit.. you couldn’t take it off due to the hundreds of buttons involved.

Power Pants
One of my favorite RTR purchases of all time. I wore these to work and felt like a badass, powerful lady boss. If you're looking to try out the new wide leg cropped pant trend, these pants are a great starting place. The red color is gorgeous, the fit is fantastic, the wide leg is just the right width, and they look awesome with flats or heels. The material is pretty wrinkle resistant, so at the end of the day, these pants still looked fantastic. If between sizes, size down. The waist ran slightly large but overall still TTS. I have curvy, athletic thighs and am constantly on the hunt for work pants that don't look like skin tight leggings. These were perfect.

Beautiful (but complex) dress for a formal affair!
I wore this dress for a styled bridal photoshoot and I thought it was beautiful. It is very complex to put on and you will need someone to help you, but once you get it figured out, it's comfortable and feels very secure. It's hard to tell from pictures, but there's fabric that goes across the chest, so there's no risk of under-boob. You can't wear a bra with this dress and there is no padding in the chest, so I would say pasties are necessary. The material is very substantial and not at all see-through - more of a heavy, formal material than a casual, light dress. The back dips down pretty low and a lot of lower back is visible. If you are between sizes, size down, otherwise you run the risk of it being baggy and dipping down a little too low. Even when I sized down, the waist was comfortable and did not cut into my sides and create a "muffin top" or rolls in my low back.

CUTE - but see-through, wrinkly, and tough to unzip!
I got a lot of compliments on this jumpsuit and overall, I absolutely loved how it looked! The color and cut were both flattering. My only complaint was that it was very see through, and the material wrinkled easily. Also, the zipper got stuck pretty easily, and it zips all the way up the back - this made it supppper challenging to use the restroom without the assistance of someone sitting outside your stall to help you unzip and rezip. If you are between sizes, I would recommend going up! It's right across the lower stomach and hips.

Comfy and stunning jumpsuit!
Received so many compliments on this jumpsuit all night long - it is such an eye catcher! Extremely comfortable and perfect for the dance floor. The straps were comfortable and fit perfectly - I did not have any gaping of the neckline. And not having to wear a bra was a bonus! This jumpsuit does seem to run large - I haven’t worn an extra small since I was 10 years old, but that was definitely the right choice for this outfit. I wore 4inch heels and the bottom of the jumpsuit still skimmed the ground - would probably get petite if I could do it again.

Favorite RTR purchase ever!
I have worn multiple RTR rentals but this jumpsuit was definitely my favorite of them all. It fit like a glove and was SO COMFORTABLE. The fabric is so soft and there was no need to wear a bra. I am so happy I rented!

Perfect summer dress!
This dress was beautiful, bright, comfortable, and fit perfectly. I read reviews from others about the underskirt being uncomfortable, or the zipper falling apart... but I did not experience either of these with my dress! Would definitely recommend.
