Sizing runs VERY small.
Seriously. This runs SUPER small. I rent a lot, and I'm usually a 16/16W for fit and flare or a 18/18W for something with a more fitted silhouette. I could not even zip the 20R all the way. That said, if you are a curvy gal and could size up probably 2 sizes, I would recommend this whole-heartedly. The dress is absolutely gorgeous. The fabric has a nice weight, the internal structure is well made, and the lining would make it surprisingly forgiving for the color and silhouette. It was a big disappointment that I couldn't wear it.

Really beautiful, but just off.
The embroidery is simply beautiful, and I was amazed at how brand new it looked when it arrived! So much evening wear is boring, but I loved that this was fun and colorful. The long sleeves are also great for when you need to be in cocktail on a chilly day. It really is lovely, but I thought the fit was just a little off for my body. I wanted the top to be a little more fitted and the skirt to be just a little longer. I ended up not wearing it for my event, because I had rented two dresses and the other was an absolute slam-dunk stunner. I am definitely keeping this in mind for a future rental, though.

BEAUTIFUL color!!!
This is the dress I've been looking for my entire life. Seriously. Every now and then you rent something that makes your brain think, "It may be worth it for RTR to charge me 200% just so I can keep it." The color is gorgeous, and it is incredibly flattering on a hourglass/pear silhouette. The deep v-neck is VERY deep, so I had to use my sewing skills to baste the front to close a little higher. This would not dissuade me from renting this dress again, which I absolutely will in the future. I'll also add that satin is not normally a great fabric for me, but the combination of print and woven texture on this one made it beautiful AND forgiving. Seriously, ladies. This one is a winner.

Absolutely gorgeous!!!
I rented these with the Jill Jill Stuart Raisin Full Skirt Dress, and they matched PERFECTLY. They were larger than I expected, which made me super happy! They definitely make a statement, while remaining sophisticated. If you are considering renting these - JUST DO IT. Admittedly, they were kind of heavy, but I was willing to pay that price for how beautiful they were. I'll definitely try to match these with another dress in the future.

BEAUTIFUL!!!
Every now and then I rent a dress that makes me cry a little when I have to send it back. This is that dress. It is SO BEAUTIFUL. The color is a gorgeous, rich maroon, and the fabric is an excellent quality. The shape of the scoopneck in the back and the neckline in the front are both incredibly flattering. I was not able to wear a bra with this, but the bodice had enough structure that I felt super comfortable without it. This dress was beyond flattering to my hourglass/pear shape, and I received tons of compliments. I felt like a million bucks in this dress and would recommend it to anyone with a similar body shape to mine.

Very pretty!
I was happy with this dress. The color is pretty close to the picture, and the quality is very good. It fit nicely, and the lace fabric is nice. I felt good in this, but it was lacking that WOW factor. This would be really great for a work function where you needed to look nice but didn't want to be TOO flashy. Overall, a nice dress!

The body of the dress fit well, but the collar sat kind of strangely on my neck and shoulders. I don't have especially wide shoulders, so perhaps that is why? The body of the dress does fit nicely, though, and the fabric is a very high quality.

So elegant!
I wore this dress when serving as a bridesmaid in a black-tie wedding. We all had the same dress but were given the freedom to select our own jewelry. I could not have been happier with the choice of renting this necklace! My husband and I joked about what a shame it would be if it didn't make it back to RTR... J/K - I'd never do that, but I was tempted with this one! It is really lovely and makes a statement without being too loud. Strongly recommend renting this one!

I ordered these to go with the Badgley Mischka Teal Scalloped Gown. I wish the dress had fit, because these earrings were beautiful and matched perfectly! I'm definitely considering these again for a future rental. The color makes them perfect for something elegant but with a little fun.

Did not work for my body
I am a plus-sized woman with a large bust. There are supposedly a million ways to wear this dress, but none of them allowed me to wear a bra (which I needed). My husband and I fidgeted with this for nearly 30 minutes, and there was just not an option that worked for me. I'm usually not very self-conscious about my full figure, but this dress really hit the self-esteem hard while trying to figure it out.

SO BEAUTIFUL - But couldn't wear it
This. Dress. Is. Beautiful. Unfortunately, it was sent as a back-up, and they sent a size smaller than what I had asked for in my initial order. This would've been a great dress for my pear shaped body, as the bottom does offer a good deal of flexibility due to the flowy fabric. The waist and bust are actually very fitted, however, as it often the case with these drapey, Grecian looking dresses. Had they sent it in my size, I would've worn this and felt AMAZING, but unfortunately I couldn't get the zipper past the waistband on the one-size-too-small dress. I'm definitely considering this for a future rental, though!

Not right for my body type
This dress is really beautiful in person. The fabric looks rich and has a nice weight that makes it good for plus size. Unfortunately, it was all wrong for my pear shaped body. I knew it was a risk to try it, and I should've followed that gut instinct. The 18 fit like perfection on the top but was WAY too tight on the bottom. The bottom of the 20 fit like a glove, but the off-shoulder sleeves were very big and droopy. If you are very consistently the same size top and bottom - RENT THIS DRESS!!! If you ever have issues with feeling like things would fit better if you could have a different size for the top and bottom - try something different.

These are AMAZING!!!
Umm, can I even tell you how much I loved these earrings?! I seriously thought about not sending them back, but RTR doesn't look too kindly on that. :) These were the perfect balance of sparkly and edgy, and they were a great size - noticeable, but not garish. I will DEFINITELY be renting these again.

Great party dress!
I wore this dress for my 33rd birthday party, and I cannot rave about it enough! The fit was great, and it was incredibly flattering. This was definitely one where I found myself wishing I didn't have to send it back. It was great for my pear body shape, as it showed off my chest and waist, while the fabric over my hips was flowy and forgiving. I strongly recommend this dress!!!

I loved this earrings! I rented them to wear with the Botanical Blue Dress by Badgley Mischka and a pair of yellow mary jane heels. It made a great outfit that felt very formal while still being young, fun, and a little unexpected. The earrings were pretty big, but I was expecting (and even counting on!) that. Loved them!!

LOVED this dress!
I cannot even begin to tell you how much I loved this dress. The color is beautiful. The pattern of the sequins is subtle and sophisticated. It was super flattering, and the cut-out on the back was sexy without being too revealing. I received compliments all night wearing this, including someone asking if it was a custom-made gown! Wow! The other comments about it running large were true. I usually wear an 18, but I ordered a 16 after reading those comments. Like I said above - it fit very well and was very flattering. I suppose I should offer a warning that the sequins can be a little hard on the skin on the inside of the your arms and was slightly uncomfortable after a long night's wear, but that would absolutely never stop me from renting this dress again. It is truly just fantastic and beautiful!!!

Not great quality
The fit of the dress was really cute, but the fabric was not great quality. The lace looked like it had been worn several times, so it will pilling. Also, the lace on the outside had clearly shrunk from laundering as it was shorter than the lining when I put the dress on. Thank goodness I had ordered two different dresses! I ended up wearing the Adriana Papell Sip and See Sheath, which was better quality materials and fit great!

Cuter than I was expecting!
I actually received this dress as a substitute when the dress I had ordered was damaged by the previous renter. I wasn't excited, as it had a very different silhouette from the dress I had initially ordered. I ended up really liking it, however! The color in person is actually a very pretty royal blue, rather than the periwinkle it looks like in the photo. It was a little big on me, but it still looked pretty cute. I ended up styling it much differently than RTR recommended. Rather than glitzy diamonds, I thought it looked best with funkier accessories. It's fairly conservative, so colorful accessories help make it appear more youthful. I wore it with orange suede wedges and a white statement necklace, and I received lots of compliments!

I ordered this dress for an event at work. I was afraid it might be a little too flashy based on the photos, but in person it was actually very matronly! The body was shapeless - no darts or seaming of any kind. It was really unflattering - it made me look much older and larger than I am. I was thankful that I had ordered more than one dress, as I just didn't feel good in this one and didn't wear it.
