Easy and elegant
This dress was nice and simple but with just enough detail between the neckline and back cutout. There is a good amount of stretch to this dress, I sized up as everyone else suggested but would say it was between running small and true to size -Usually an 8 and wore the 10 for comfort -34D and think the 8 would have been more supportive but wanted tummy room for food and drinks -I wish I had planned on having nipple covers bc you can't wear a bra and I wore it in February -you will have to have someone else help you zip the back so plan accordingly if you live alone -5'6" and the regular length for 8&10 was about an inch off the ground with 3" heels, I think the long might have looked better/skimmed the ground Overall a great dress, would rent again

Would recommend
I wore this to my bridesmaids luncheon, it felt a little more formal for a brunch event than I would usually wear but I was the bride so it worked. I am 5'6" and this hit right below my knees, I don't usually wear midi lengths but got a lot of compliments on this dress and it making me look taller. I wore my normal strapless bra without issues, the M was a good fit for my chest (34D) and there was not enough structure to go without a bra for me. The color was a dark teal/green in person and the fabric has minimal stretch to it. I would rent this again.

Pretty for daytime event
I only had a M for this and wish I had ordered the L- the M fit fine but I think it would fall nicer if it had been larger, would have overlapped more and you can use the belt to make it tighter if necessary but there is a button that sets the fit that obviously isn't adjustable to make it loose. For this reason I would say size up for backup or if you are in between sizes but this is technically true to size. I used a safety pin to keep it from blowing open bc I was outdoors. There is a slip that covers basically butt cheeks only and is also pretty sheer so nude underwear is a must. I wore this with a more fitted navy tank than in this picture bc the looser shirt created bumps around the waist when tucked that were prominent with the material of the skirt. Would rent again.

Flattering and forgiving
I rented the M and L, I didn't end up wearing it because it was more formal than I needed. I would have worn the L without spanx or M with spanx. I would have been comfortable without a bra bc it was fitted enough through the chest and material is thick enough. A pretty dress for a cocktail event or wedding, I would rent it again to be able to wear it to an appropriate event.

Pretty material and color
Thick and sturdy material but not too hot. I rented this for a daytime military ceremony/change of command and felt it was appropriate and got compliments. The bows were a nice but not too dramatic of a detail- they layed flat. There was very little difference in the two sizes, I sized up to a 10 and probably could have used a 12 and it still would have looked nice due to my bust size. Would recommend and would rent or buy again.

Beautiful dress but sizing was odd
This dress is beautiful. I did get compliments but I didnt feel great about the fit. The medium skimmed the bottom of my bum standing (im 5'6") and the sleeves barely came to my wrist but the large felt a little sloppy it was so large. This picture is of the Medium and Large. Just wasnt sure why why there was such a huge difference between the sizes. It almost felt like the M had been washed incorrectly and shrunk. Nonetheless, it was a nice fabric and the lace detail was very pretty.

Didn't come in decent condition, didn't wear
Im sure this dress was beautiful at one point early in its life... I loved the dress but the wear and tear was too much. The lace was loose on the sides making it flare out at the bust and the neckline was frayed, visible from many feet away. Unfortunately I didn't hear back from RTR in time so I couldn't return it in time to get credit or pick out a different one. Missing the old school RTR customer service.

Size way down!!!!
I didn't end of wearing this. I am usually a 6 but generally order an 8 for backups. I ordered a 4 &6 due to other comments, even the 4 was too large. That being said, I am more too heavy but if I were more pear shaped I think the 4 would have fit. Would be fun for date, bachelorette party or night out. Apple shaped I would recommend size down 1 size. Pear shaped- size down 2 sizes.

Easy to wear
True to size, a more fitted shift. I'm a 34 D, I wore my usual 6 but if I were any larger in the bust I would have sized up. Hit a few inches above the knee at 5'6", length would be appropriate for wedding. Would rent again- very easy to throw on and go.

Fun dress for night out! Ended up buying it.
Rented this for a bachelorette party and ended up searching the Internet to find where I could buy it. Have since worn it out for a date and girls night out. Will definitely wear it to a wedding or a rehearsal dinner in the future. I'm 5'6" and 140lbs, 34D. The length was perfect for me. It doesn't have much stretch, and if I was any larger on the chest I would have sized up. Recommend sizing up for backup, but it fit true to size. A true shift dress.

Fun but classic
I usually wear a size 6, wore a size 6 in this dress. The 8 was more comfortable and the sleeves would have allowed for better movement and dancing but because I wasn't wearing a bra I went with the 6 for the support. Once it was zipped up I didn't feel uncomfortable or that I needed to adjust myself at all the rest of the night(34D). The length was on the shorter side for a wedding but still appropriate (I'm 5'6"). The sheer in the front was never too revealing which was my biggest concern, I took some test pictures before to make sure I wouldn't be showing too much cleavage and in most pictures you would have to be looking for the sheer to notice it, it was with a close up flash that cleavage was obvious.

Great fit! Fun dress but conservative.
I rented this for Easter brunch, stylish but I felt comfortable in it for a more conservative family event. Material is thick which makes it hang nicely. It has pockets which is nice but I don't think you could put anything in them without it hanging oddly, so I wouldn't plan on that. It is true to size but I would recommend sizing up for a backup if you have a larger chest.

not what i expected
The lace on this dress is beautiful and the cut is really flattering. However, what I imagined was the green base to this is actually a blue-green glitter material. The lace makes it better but overall the base layer makes it look cheap. I can't get the thought of my first grade mermaid halloween costume out of my head when I look at at. I was looking forward to a green dress to wear to my boyfriend's Christmas party but unfortunately don't think I will be wearing this dress : ( Maybe the color would be more appropriate for a NYE party. For sizing, I am typically a size 6 in pretty much anything, this 6 was very tight through the torso/rib cage. I should have read the sizing recommendations because it did say best for A-C cups sizes. I ordered up for backup and would have needed the 8, especially for any eating and dancing. Smaller busted ladies would be safe with their true dress size.

Beautiful dress for a fall event.
I ordered my usual size 6 and an 8 as backup, it seemed very true to size. I had plenty of room for dinner and drinks. The length was appropriate for a wedding and dancing, Showed a little bit of leg but I was never concerned it was too short. The color was beautiful and the lace was forgiving. The only problem I had with the dress, as previous renters have mentioned, the neckline is very low cut. It wasn't enough to keep me from wearing the dress, but it was enough to make me a little uncomfortable. I considered wearing the 8 because of this but it didn't make a difference in the neckline, only a little extra room in the waist area. I would suggest ordering down a size as backup, especially if not busty. Overall, it was a beautiful dress and I got lots of compliments while wearing it.
