I instantly fell in love with this dress when I first saw it to wear to a NYFW event. I tried it on for the first time and the top felt "big". However the bottom part fit perfectly. Not sure if the dress is made to fit or to be able more of a one size fits all. I went down a size based on other reviews but could have gone down a size or 2 more. It bunched under the arms and the arms were long so I just opted not to throw my hands in the air and wave them like I just don't care.

I was shocked that I was a small when I have been running a size 14-18 but that is the way the designer has it. I loved the unique asymmetrical look. It was a little tight at the bottom but that is what made it cute. For some reason I thought the material was a Jersey like from the pic and was a little surprised at that and it has a Linning. I rented this for work. Loved the sturdy fabric and the heavy zipper. The fit was great and true to size the only big consideration is that there is a tight band without any give that is right under the bust about the belly that could accentuate a tummy. The shoulders and re top were kinda puffy which was a little odd but it was nice
