Worth the tightness
This was a second choice that RTR overnighted to me. My first dress did not work the way I was hoping. I’m a sucker for a good ball gown and this did not disappoint! I didn’t have to wear a bra because the fabric was so tight up top that there was no room for movement or extra fabric. It was tight enough that it smoosh the girls down a bit but I didn’t think it was a bad thing. It gave an incredibly flattering figure with the a line bottom. I loved the high neck it felt so classy! I did get the long because that was the only option, and it was long. I’m 5’ 6” and had to pick it up to walk. I chose to wear flats for comfort and didn’t mind picking it up. If I wore 2-3” heels I’m sure I would not have had to pick it up. For reference I am a m/L in shirts. An 8/10 in pants. And a typical 14 in dresses. I am a full 38DD. This dress was forgiving and tight in all the right places. My husband even said if I wanted to buy it I could because he thought it was that flattering and something I could enjoy rewearing. Now of course he doesn’t get the joy of a new dress every time. But it is something I could see my self rewearing I loved it so much!

Almost but not quite.
I ordered a 12 & 14. The 12 came with tags on — brand new! The 14 came with a safety pin from the last renter and was very wrinkly. I was able to get them out enough that the rest looked like it was part of the fabric. The arm area of the dress is loose (extra fabric that sagged). Make sure to wear a black strapless bra or no bra bc that’s how low the fabric sagged. The chest area was not forgiving. The fabric from under the arm wasn’t in the same space as the chest fabric so it did not help the other out. Oh - Surprise - there is a belt. No idea it had one but it was fine. The length was perfect — brushing the top of my feet. This dress is pretty but it just didn’t wow me (or others!). For reference I am a 38DD and I normally wear a Med or Lg shirt. I went with the 14 on this dress which is normally true to size.

I wanted it to work. I did. But it just didn’t.
It’s a stunning dress. I love the drop waist, the color, every thing about it. But when it came the fit was just….okay. No real structure to the top part of the dress - which is fine but more structure does help with fit. It hit right at my ankle bone so when I tell you it almost worked, it did! I could zip it, I just would have been too worried about my stomach or my back looking pudgy all night long. For reference I’m a 38DD. I wear mediums and larges in shirts. The dress I did up going with was a 14. I wear 8/10 pants.

Someone said I was a bombshell!
If you want to feel like a million bucks and wow anyone and everyone… this is our dress! My husband was drooling all night. And everyone else was so complimentary of it. Including someone calling me a bombshell… talk about a mood booster!! Now for the fit details… It’s thick and heavy but not uncomfortable in any way. The neck was a little tight (I don’t like things around my neck so I knew this would be a challenge anyway.) but I left it unzipped right before the seam. So with that plus my hair no one noticed. I went with the extra large simply because of body image issues. I could have fit the large but ya girls has a mom pooch that isn’t her fav. The material is very stretchy but the sequins are not forgiving. They will show all lumps and bumps. The length hit right at the top of my foot which was just fine with me. I didn’t have to worry about walking with the length and it showed off my fun shoes too!! It was absolutely one of my favorite rentals so far! It made this mom feel sexy!!

Classy and Sassy
I ended up wearing the XL. I have a fairly large chest so that size gave the most room. However it was a little big in the stomach. But it just made it more comfortable to wear all night. Strapless bra is a must as it gets to skinny around the neck to crisscross it. The dress is double lined and has good thickness to it but it’s not bad for a summer event. The sequins are fairly soft. They irritated my arms by the end of the night but I was in it for almost 5 hours. And irritated is probably to strong of a word. I loved the slit. It was easy to move around. I wasn’t concerned with tripping or anything. I’m 5’6” and wore 3” heels and it covered the top of my feet. I loved my dress, it made me feel confident and classy! Definitely recommend.

When my husband said "wow, you're stunning" I knew I picked the right dress!
I ended up wearing the 16. Can we talk about how much I despise the sizing on formal gowns? I am not a size 16 in anything else!. It's ridiculous. I'm a 38D chest, a medium / large shirt and a size 8 pant. Moving on... It's beautiful, perfect for a summer event. The material is thick but that's to be expected for this style of dress. If they could have made a 15 I would have fit perfectly in that size. The 14 was too small but the 16 was a little roomy. Definitely would rent this one again!

One of Kind - Formal Dress Perfect for Winter
I was so pleased that the first time I could wear the one of the sizes that I was sent. I was also pleased that the 12 was even slightly big. I am big chested and somewhat small waisted so I had some extra room in the stomach / waist area. This was perfect for my work gala, I could move so easily, but felt so glamorous at the same time. It was extremely comfortable. It was a bit longer than I expected but not something I worried about. This was definitely a wonderful pick for me - It was the perfect color, style and fit for what I needed.

Perfect for the Emmy's
I rented a blue dress orginally and got this necklace to go with it. I ended up wearing the red dress (as seen in the picture from RTR) and the necklace worked PERFECTLY with the red. It was the elegance and class I needed for the night. It was light weight and barely noticed it was there. PERFECT rental.

SMALL
I did not end up wearing this dress. I loved the color & concept but it was SO SO SMALL. I rented the 12R which is my normal formal dress size but I am not even convinced the 14R would have fit. If you have a big chest I would not recommend this dress. I ended up renting another dress which was even more perfect for the Emmy's than this dress. So I was very pleased with the overall outcome.

Emmy's Show Stopper
I initially rented a different dress but I am so GLAD that the first dress didn't work and I was forced out of my comfort zone into this one. I LOVED it. I received so many compliments all night, but I think what I loved more was the looks that I received from my husband. He literally could not stop staring at me! I felt stunning, from my hair to my toes I felt like the star of the show. I was proud to be his date for the Emmy's, this was a perfect dress for the occasion. NOW, onto fit. I wore a size 14R which was a size up for my normal size but it was perfect. I didn't have to wear a bra because the boning structure in the dress held it up perfectly for me. The length was great for me but probably a little short for anyone much taller than 5'6". I wore two inch heels and the dress dusted over the top of my feet. The necklace I wore put all the pieces together, it was a perfect blend of classy and trendy. The zipper was HARD, but RTR sent me a new dress overnight and while the zipper was hard it was much easier than the first one. Hips, I don't really have hips but this dress made me look all kinds of curvy! I do not have a flat stomach so the bunching in the dress was perfect to hide my imperfections. RENT THIS DRESS TODAY, I promise you will love it.

It's a show stopper! One of kind! Perfect color!
I got tons of compliments at the wedding. It was truly a one of a kind dress! I felt beautiful & comfortable all night long! It was the perfect pink not too bold but not too soft either. It was a comfortable fit so I was able to do anything I needed that day / night!
