Has details you can't quite see in the pictures that makes it especially lovely, including gold thread detailing and short sheer under-layer so you can see the bottom of your legs through the lace. I'm really short (5'2) and while it fit me very well in the torso (Like all the Dress the Population styles- HIGHLY recommend this brand but had only work their mini and midi dresses before), this was wayyy too long on me overall - even with heels, I had to take to the tailor to get a temporary hand-sewn hem I could release before I returned it. I initially tried this style on at the RTR store and the stylist assured me I could do so for $5, but the tailor insisted it was $45 because she had to hand sew rather than do it on the machine. So this was much more expensive than I anticipated! Short girls, factor that in :)

Loved it! I'm short and busty and it worked perfectly for me. The colors are bold and beautiful and the length was perfect on me (so it might be short on someone taller) I would totally rent this again. Very true to size--I usually wear a 4 and the 4 fit like a glove.

The color on this dress is absolutely gorgeous. Such a vibrant, fun yellow! That being said, this dress is not great for shorter people. On me the part between the strap and the gathered waist was incredibly poofy and unflattering. Also, it was very long and lacked the fun, flirty look it has on the model. Would be great on someone who is longer-waisted and taller!

The BEST THING about this dress is how flattering it is. It gives you a teeny tiny waist! I wish I owned this dress! I didn't receive a slip, but I just bought a short slip for the bottom and it was much better because the top fits so well.

I would say do not order this dress if you are short! The top half drapes strangely and moves around a lot because it's made for someone with a longer torso. Also, The V neckline might need to be pinned because it's much more plunging than it appears in the picture On the positive side, the emerald green color is absolutely fabulous in person!

This dress was tiny!!! I couldn't wear either size I ordered (even my size-up back-up) because they were both too small--a problem I've never had before with RTR. I think this dress is definitely cut for someone who is long and lean.

Beautiful earrings, but very big AND HEAVY!!I ended up not wearing them because they hurt my ears. But if you can deal with the heaviness, these are definitely gorgeous and worth ordering!!
