The original size I ordered for this dress wasn't available in the warehouse any longer (but they sent me replacements!) so I tried on the 4, it fit OK which is why I say this runs large. The material is forgiving and the style timeless - I could have worn this to a cocktail party or black tie affair, it's that versatile. Lovely dress!

I was sent this dress because the original size I ordered for another was no longer available. Unfortunately, while the top fit great the bottom was too snug on my bottom. It didn't hang right so I wasn't able to wear. But they were wonderful to send me this in the first place. Just be aware of this if you have a larger bottom half.

I've never been one to ever complain about 'top too tight' as I'm your average pear shape - small up top, big down below. But the structure of the boning in the top pushed my ever-growing chest (thanks carbs and fat!) up and...a little out there. I'm not complaining as I never have cleavage, but for large chested ladies this may be problematic. I forgot I had rented this dress for a wedding weekend and when it came in it took all the guesswork out of what to wear for reception party the night before - which is when a little cleavage is acceptable.

I rented this for a weekend wedding in upstate New York the last weekend of August. As others have noted it is a 'tad' short but I'm short, so it worked out. I never felt inappropriate in it. I received constant compliments and just felt pretty the whole day. Thanks RTR!

This is a quintessential Cape Cod beach wedding dress. It's a bit snug if you were blessed/cursed with woman's hips and the thighs to match so take that into consideration. It's classic Lily and something you can either dress up or down.

I really loved this dress. I wore it to a wedding and it was completely appropriate for a day ceremony into night reception. It was stylish and chic, paired with a nude heel and gold jewelry. But as everyone says - it blows up - and the ceremony was near a harbor so it was touch an dgo for me for a bit. Plan accordingly! I didn't notice it being too big - and if I had been a bit taller and thinner I could have totally rocked this without the belt - but you work with what you got. Overall a great RTR experience!
