Wore this to an evening October wedding in Indianapolis at a southwestern museum. Many compliments from well heeled women..and some men too! Great statement piece ..I wore a tried and true black boat neck sheath dress which I had in my closet. It felt like a new outfit with the jewelry. Paired with very simple pave' earrings which I had. I would highly recommend this piece. It looked rich and stylish. More art deco if I were describe the style.

Wore to a 2pm wedding in October. It was for my husband's employee's wedding so I wanted to be a bit conservative.Fitted at chest...I am broad across the back and this was a bit snug. I did not wear a bra and it looked good without one. I am straight with not much of a waist so this was fitted at waist as well..very slimming. My measurements are probably 35-36A-28-35. Color is better in person, a very deep purple with a bit of a sheen. Black overlay is very pretty but the hem is a bit strange as there is a large hem binding at the bottom causing it to look a bit rumpled.. It really didn't bother me much because it is a flare cut. The only compliment I got was from my husband....! I would definitely rent this again. I wore the Misha Badgely green emerald necklace with it..loved loved the necklace!!!!
