Cinderella before the fairy godmother

Beautiful, not for me
I liked the photo of this dress more than the dress itself. The one I was sent had also had the straps taken in a huge amount, but I could tell even with the ill fit on top that it wasn't going to be my favorite.

Loved - Sized up, cutout limits shape wear
I hate when sweater dresses stretch tight, so I went a size up and it was a great, easy fit. Nice length for taller ppl. I think it’s helpful to note that this is not a dress that will naturally synch you in, and the cutout in the back will show any shape wear that you might use to control your mid section.

Wore twice. The fabric is sheer, but has some extra layers in the front panel, and is more transparent where it covers the back. You could wear it with nothing under and be covered enough in the evening, but a flash camera would likely expose everything. I wore it once with a black sticky bra and another time with a black body suit that had a low back and a deep v in front. Will rent again. You can dress it up or down. It was perfect for a southwest wedding, but also would be great for a nice dinner or with a sweater on top.

Beautiful dress and fabric. I am usually an easy 6 with no troubles but I couldn't even zip this dress beyond my natural waist. Will try again and size up.

LOVE THIS TOP
I wore this with leather leggings and it was amazing. The flow of the cape is very attention grabbing. Only note- the buttons tend to just pop open if you are busy and move the right way. It wasn't pulling at all, a perfect fit, just reach for something, show a boob. I used a small safety pin to secure the top right below the button hole because I was out of clothing tape. Just a heads up if you have a chest.

Beautiful fabric, odd fit
It was first recommended that I rent the 8 so I ordered it and it was huge. Then I got the six and it fits some places and is too big in others. The fabric is beautiful and I really wanted this dress to work but it did not.

For a specific body type
This was a beautiful dress but the fit just didn't suit me. I thought my issue would improve when I sized up but then the top of the dress was too big and the waist was still tight. Wish it would've worked out.

Not for big chests
I love the look of this dress, it is just for a specific body type. It fit me everywhere and zipped up but completely smashed my 36C size chest. While it was smashing my boobs the shoulder straps were a little loose, so if I went up a size, it would be way too big. I would recommend for women who normally wear a size small or XS and have a 36B or smaller size chest.

Rented as a back up dress
I rented the medium as a back up dress if my original didn't work. I found it to be baggy in all the wrong places. Because of the reviews and my current bust size I thought renting a medium was a safe bet, but it was just baggy and unflattering. I have seen it in the photo reviews and really think it looks great, but I must not have the right figure for it. It just made me look larger than I am and was too large around my midsection. I can usually wear medium without a problem.

This dress feels very romantic. It made me feel confident the whole night.
This dress runs small for sure. I read it in the reviews but still thought "my size will probably work" and I went up a size. I am just short of 5'8 and wore 3 inch heels and the 8L was perfect, but I still had someone step on it at one point in the night. I am also extra busty right now from breastfeeding so I did not wear a bra and found the dress to support me well. Another thing I read over and over again THE ZIPPER! IT is really tough. I had to have help and then finally turned the dress around on my waist and had another pair of hands hold it closed while we zipped it. Then turned it back around and zipped the rest of the way. The zipper was the only reason this dress does not get five stars. It could potentially keep you from wearing the dress at all.
