Very classic and tailored but I chose to wear a backup dress.
The dress design itself is fabulous--very elegant and classic. I ordered this as my first choice but actually ended up wearing a back up selection due to the sizing of the dress. Definitely size up because the fabric does not have give! It was both tight in the bust and the hip area. The fabric was substantial and satiny, it did not feel like cheap material or poor construction. The dress arrived with some wrinkle in the bottom hem, however, I hung it up overnight and the light wrinkle fell out on its own. The belt that arrived was not the same as the sash shown in the pictures.

BEAUTIFUL elegant dress! It fit like a glove.
The light tulle overlay is actually a deep navy color, which really enhanced the purple notes of the lace fabric. Very well constructed and flowed nicely. I would suggest having some fashion tape on hand to keep the straps in place is your smaller busted. I added a very dainty drop necklace to complete the look.
