My Mom and I ended up both wearing this skirt on different days. We both loved it! My mom usually is a 4 on bottom and I'm a 4-6. The skirt poufs out in the cutest way but in no ways adds bulk. It's light weight too. Wearing the skirt definitely had me wishing I was from another era.

Loved the length. I'm 5'7 and it hit mid calf. I had my mom try it on for fun (had to have her experience the amazing "twirl" factor) and at 5'5 it was just above her ankles. I rented another skirt for around Christmas time and it was also a four (Moschino). It fit much better. This skirt was tight (waist only). The fabric was gorgeous, works well with silver jewelry as there is silver in the skirt. Did not notice much of a difference between the two and four. The two was slightly shorter and slightly smaller waist but unnoticeable difference in size when hung next to each other.

With my chronic illness I have to dress for comfort (hence the flats). This dress fit the bill. I ordered the size 2r and 0r and barely could tell a difference in size but liked how the top fit on the 0r. I felt comfortable all night! No worries about my dress falling off or being stepped on. One thing to note would be that the lining underneath does show. I think it has to do with how often its been dry cleaned. I used a combination of bobby pins and fashion tape to keep in out of site but at the end of the night it had slipped a bit. Zipper was tight. Also, if I was going to wear heels I definitely would have needed the long.
