This was my back up dress for a wedding in Colorado - and unfortunately the wedding was during the "1000 year rains/flood" we had here. I chose my original dress because it seemed for some reason to fit the weather/mood better, and I needed to wear boots. However, this dress was quite pretty - the fabric was light weight, and I agree with another reviewer that the fabric appeared a tad more matronly choice (on the hanger), but once I put it on was very pretty.

The dress is easy to wear, and I did get a ton of compliments, but like other reviewers, I found that the lining is WAY shorter than the lace, and I felt it was not proportionate. I agree that the lining should be shorter than the lace, but in this case, it was seriously 8 - 10" shorter, and I found myself pulling it down the entire night.

This dress exceeded every hope. The colors in the RTR content management system photos don't do it justice! Like many reviewers before me, I had so many people stop me to ask me about the dress - it wasn't "my" day, since I rented this for a wedding - but it really turned out to be a great day for me as well. I paired it with a concho belt, knee-high western-ish boots, a small but very cute cowboy hat (since it was raining, and an outdoor wedding), and an olive green, leather multi-strand stacked bracelet. Stunning dress!

Unfortunately, it was a tad snug, and I just couldn't wear it.

The dress wasn't quite what I expected, though it was beautiful. As everyone else, I had to wear a camisole underneath it because I am quite busty, and there was NO WAY the dress would cover me. I loved the fabric; and the overall cut and flow of the dress was so very feminine.
