Itty bitty
Too small for me. Maybe I could've zipped it but only cause I'm a B cup. It was super short, too. Shame, because it is so pretty! Other ladies, note that XL - 16/18 is probably more 16, full stop.

I do love this dress and am considering keeping it. It's a little short on my big bum and I don't know if I could even button it all the way up, hence my remark regarding it being small. However, I was still able to zip myself, which is strange for a dress that's not TTS. Regardless, it's super cute even if I'm not wearing it like the model.

Very Sweet
Maybe it was that I didn't have the right top but I felt a little too sweet in this skirt. My husband said it was "Little House on the Prairie" but I disagree. It is beautiful but I didn't wear it because I could r strike the right balance for what I was looking for.

Pencil for a Pear
Pencil skirts are not typically flattering on my pear shape due to where I carry my weight. However, the ruching is so flattering that wasn't a concern. The fabric is stretchy, the pattern is fun, the ruffle is flirty. I ended up buying this one.

Date night with friends!
While it's definitely very "resort" in style, I wore this in a few decidedly non-resort situations. Once with a boho eyelet top and once with a cropped t shirt. It's ultra flattering and I got tons of compliments. I rented up a size due to availability and it was a tad big, so I'd say it's TTS.

Not for Pears
I went up a size in this and it just wasn't flattering. As a pear-shaped lady, I had room in the waist and bust, and it wasn't highlighting either of those features. Meanwhile, it was hanging onto my curves in an unflattering way. The ruffle looked like it hit right below the curve of my lower tummy (in reality it was much lower, but it didn't do me any favors). This looks so great on a lot of the other women who wore it, lots of curvy women too. Just not for me and where I carry my weight.

Beautiful but a struggle for larger armed ladies
I loved this top - it is beautiful and fit really well overall, but I couldn't wear it because the arms were too small for me. I have larger arms, but typically don't run into issues with plus sizes. I would say for most women, this is a great fit, but I personally will need to size up in this to accommodate my arms.

Cute but not for my event
Grabbed this and a few other dresses to potentially wear to a wedding. This dress was really lovely and flattering. Came to mid-calf. I felt a bit like the dress couldn't decide what it wanted to me. On the one hand, it's bright and looks summery, but on the other hand it's a heavy fabric. The color was a bit more bold than I hoped but overall I thought the dress looked and fit really nicely.

This is a showstopper
This top is absolutely stunning and really elevates a casual outfit. I wore it to a bachelorette celebration - dinner at a nice restaurant followed by (wait for it) beer pong reservations at a cool little ping pong bar. Paired with dark wash jeans and black wedges, this was the perfect outfit to suit both occasions. The cons all have to do with the fit - it runs very small and I ordered up a size and would have liked even more room. I could not get it on by myself because it has a side zip and had that annoying thing where it won't go over the seam. It was also too large at the top - we had to tie the neck ribbon to make it work, otherwise it dangled awkwardly (I believe this is because I am not busty). It's not the most comfortable top because of where the boning stops right at the waist - bending over wasn't fun and sitting required some delicate adjustments. All that said, it's truly beautiful enough for me to put up with the cons again and again, hence the five stars.

Five stars for the dress, three stars for quality
First, the good. This dress looks amazing on. It was perfect for a wedding and I feel like it is special enough to be suitable for a fairly formal affair but modern and flirty enough to not feel out of place if said affair turns out to be way more casual than anticipated (which is always a fear at weddings with vague dress codes). A lot of people suggested sizing up and as a pear shape I thought this was a good idea for me, but I did feel like it was a tad too big (predictably around the waist and bust). I'm not sure if I could have worn my regular size through the hips, but I may have been able to as it was surprisingly stretchy. Now on to the bad (and this may not be super relevant unless someone receives the exact dress I got). This is the first RTR item I've received where I was disappointed in the quality. I tried it on quickly upon receiving it to make sure it fit, and noticed the boning was poking through the fabric in one spot. I decided this wasn't a huge deal and I didn't really have time to replace it before I attended this wedding anyway. The day of the wedding I put the dress on and I was wrong - the boning wasn't poking through the fabric in one place. It was poking through everywhere. Luckily I had some shapewear clean (I wasn't originally intending on wearing because the dress is super flattering). The shapewear came up really high which prevented most of the scratching from the exposed boning, but I couldn't exactly dance the night away and I did have some irritated skin when I got home. I was at one point worried I may be bleeding (I am clearly dramatic and that wasn't the case - but it genuinely was painful). The left sleeve had also become detached from the bodice in the front. This was not at all noticeable in photos (or probably in real life), just slightly uncomfortable at times as the bodice didn't lay flat on that side. I feel like both of these quality issues are fairly easy fixes and I'm surprised that it wasn't caught before being sent out. All that is to say, I've seen many variations of this dress on RTR and just recommend trying it on ASAP upon receiving it and paying special attention to the boning because it was dreadfully uncomfortable to sit in and made the YMCA difficult (a tragedy which I am willing to forgive given the corniness of that song and dance).

Really special
I'm considering buying this. It is a really special dress that is the epitome of day to evening. It hits just below the knee and has a sleeve so is definitely appropriate for work; but the fit is incredible, the sleeves are so fun and even a bit sexy, the print is unique. I can't say enough good things about this dress.

I ended up wearing my normal size rather than sizing down (because the smaller size was unavailable) and it fit fine - maybe a bit big around the waist but not so large that I felt uncomfortable. I really loved wearing this. It's a longer skirt and I did feel a bit short and squat without my wedges, but once I added some more height it was stunning. I like that it hit below the knee but with the zipper and detailing it had a much more youthful and fun vibe.

Received a ton of compliments
This skirt is beautiful, flattering, and memorable. Agree with the other reviewers to size up - the lining of the skirt is quite snug. The hardest thing about this skirt was deciding what to wear with it. I really wanted to find a champagne silk blouse but ended up in an almost khaki top (not a perfect match but in the same wheelhouse as the skirt colors). It would also look good with white of course but I wanted to warm it up a bit.
