This dress definitely runs small. I originally ordered the size 12R (I wear a 12 in 'regular' off the rack dresses, 10 or 12 in pants) and it wouldn't even zip! I quickly ordered replacements and only the 16R was available, which initially scared me but ended up being perfect! I would say size up twice if you are curvy at all. The back was stunning. The dress was classy and a good base for the hair, makeup and accessories I had planned. You cannot wear a standard bra with this. I used one of those sticky cup ones, which wasn't ideal as I am 34G, but it was better than nothing. Might be more comfortable (as would any backless dress) on someone with a smaller chest. The bottom of the dress was fit and flare so it was a bit constricting for dancing but nothing too bad. Overall, the dress and look definitely matched the amazing classic old-Manhattan venue and reception!

this is pretty but does not leave ANYTHING to the imagination. If you are curvy, it is very va-va-voom, which isn't necessarily bad but didn't make sense for the event I was intending to wear it to.

Fit really well. Was worried about the sleeves being too tight for my arms, but there was just enough give. Definitely thankful for the sleeves on a chilly mid-spring night. Neckline not too low for an event with work colleagues in attendance. Sequins are as understated as sequins can be. Slightly scratchy but got used to that quickly. The size L I ended up wearing was a bit stretched on the bottom left -- almost like some of the subtle ruching at the waist had come unstitched so it was slightly longer and misshapen on one side -- nothing too noticeable but it did give me pause. Received a number of compliments and think this is a good rental if you're needing to be festive but not too flashy!

fit well, came in good condition, the draping is really nice. Well suited for small waist/larger shoulders type because of it's sculptural bodice -- striking.It made me feel fashionable at a southern California wedding, but also appropriate to the occasion -- not too revealing, but not frumpy at all. Color of skirt is lovely. I would say the band around the waist feels a bit tight by the end of the night, and my ribs were a little compressed...
