The dress was great but simple which is what I wanted so that my boots could be the star.
I would imagine that if you are much taller than me (5'4") sitting down could be challenging if you are worried about showing off too much upper thigh. Throw some short black bike shorts on underneath and you are good to go. I liked the roominess of the fit. But if you want a more form fitted vibe, size down. This was the perfect dress to rock lace up thigh highs in- which also helped me feel more covered but still sexy.

Perfect mid-length dress for a lunch date with a girlfriend. Modest but shows the curves.
This is perfect for an hourglass figure. I loved how it hugged my curves without being revealing in anyway. I paired it with strappy sandals like the model wears in the photos, and a long, sheer trench coat. Perfect spring day time look!

This dress definitely stands out. The gold catches your eye from across the room.
This dress made me feel very old Hollywood glamourous. I paired it with a light weight gauzy trench coat and tall black strappy suede heels. I am 5'4"/5'5" on a good day, and this midi hit me at the perfect height of my calves. It should be noted that the material is sweater knit but from a distance appears more satin-like due to the lacquered shine. Minimal jewelry recommended. I only wore my wedding ring and allowed the dress to be the statement piece. If you have an hour glass figure like me, wear this dress. I felt super curvy and sexy without showing any t&a. Class vibe.

This gown is a head turner. It is the perfect combination of sexy and tasteful. I wanted to cover my tattoos (arms), but I didn't want to look like Mother Mary. The only neg I have is that my boobs wouldn't quite fill out the top(32 c). But I used some inserts and was good to go! I absolutely loved everything about this gown. The fabric was so expensive looking. I didn't want to return it!

This gown is an absolute show stopper. Everyone loved this gown and I felt like a badass princess.
Unfortunately the size 40 would have fit much better, but I was sent a gown with a broken zipper! Thank god there was a back up. The 42 fit fine just a little loose up top. Ladies, this dress is EXTREMELY HEAVY, so don't wear this is you have to do a lot of moving around or you WILL sweat. Fortunately if you are dancing and moving around, this gown has a rugged look to it from the beginning and doesn't feel like a delicate piece of silk that will fall apart. It's already gray and kind of dirty looking so you can wear it without freaking out about it touching anything. FYI it is not as high low as the model pic and in my pic I am holding the gown up to show my shoes. I am 5'5 and had 4 inch heels on and the front of the gown just barely touched the ground. The back will drag, it has a heavy train that people love to step on. If I would have been able to wear the 40 it would have been epic. Oh well, I still felt like a goddess, and everyone had something to say about this gown. Love!!!
