The dress was very flattering
I was worried when I first ordered this dress that I would need spanx or shapewear underneath. I forgot them at home and didn't have any choice but to wear it to the wedding without. I'm glad I forgot them though, because the dress was so flattering without them and I was comfortable. I am a size 16 and reserved the 16 and 18. 16 fit perfectly.

I wore this gown for the 63rd annual Ozone Camellia Festival Ball
I LOVED this gown!! It was absolutely stunning and I had to put it on as soon as I saw it. The fit is pretty true to size, and it does have some stretch. I would advise having spanx or something of that kind underneath though, especially if your tummy tends to jiggle like mine. I received so many compliments on this dress throughout the night and felt like a princess/disco ball. The dress is not as bright a gold as it appears in photos, it is more of a rosy gold color.
