These are very long, very big, and very see-through. They also have a drawstring in the front which gives them a very casual look IMO. I ended up wearing them to bed.

The pleats didn't work for me
I really liked the high waist of these shorts but the plates made the shorts balloon out which made me look bigger than I am. I have a little belly and the pleats accentuated it.

I ended up getting an XL(12) and should have gone with a smaller size, it was much to big especially in the bust. I didn't wear it and thank goodness because a women sitting at my table at the event I attended was wearing it! It's such a unique dress that it would have been very awkward

Immediate compliments
This skirt was tight in my midsection. I was pretty depressed about the fit so I tried to wear it "bumming around" to see if it would stretch a little. It didn't, but I wore it anyway to Target for a quick trip thinking I wouldn't see anyone I know. I started getting compliments from strangers the moment I stepped out of the car. Someone else mentioned this is a good alternative to jeans, I agree. I will definitely rent again and possibly buy, but size up.

Very comfortable
I really enjoyed wearing these pants. I wore them for a marathon day of work travel, leaving at 6a and getting home after midnight. They were comfortable and looked great. I like the belt but it's sewn on and I wished I could swap it for my own to change the style. The back of the pants come up pretty high which I liked but others may not.

Better than I expected
I was not impressed with this dress when it first arrived as it's a pretty basic black dress. But after putting it on and adding some accessories I really liked the look and it's very comfortable. That evening a friend told me she thought my outfit was "understated elegance".
