LOVED this dress - it flares and flows behind you, and it's a nice heavy cloth that gives it weight and body. Fits true to size but in a quite form-fitting way - I don't typically wear spanx under dresses but found them helpful with this dress to smooth things out a bit. The one con - SO MUCH SIDE BOOB. There is simply NOT enough fabric at the top of this dress (sizing up doesn't help - I tried on my backup size, which was larger, and the dress was too big but there will wasn't enough cloth on the top). If you are bigger than a B cup (and honestly, even that's pushing it), I don't recommend this dress.

I'm an athletic body type and this hung on me like a bag. It FIT - it gave coverage in all the appropriate places - but it's a lot of cloth and it just made me look bulky and padded. The frill across the front falls at a mid-calf length that isn't flattering. In the photos it looked form fitting and full of action but in real life it's limp.

This dress runs small - I'm typically a 4 and could barely breathe in this and had to size up to a 6; even then, it felt a bit tight after eating and drinking! That being said - everything else about this was sheer perfection. It accentuated my top half, even as a smaller chested woman, and the bottom skirt flowed in a way that made it SO fun to dance in. There is a bit of weight to it, which you should be prepared for. Heels do NOT get in the way even with the train and flounce on the side - the slide makes it easy to walk. Although the outer material is a bit scratchy, there's a lovely lining that makes it feel lovely against the skin.

Extremely form hugging - this is not a dress to hide in. It's so form fitting it made my chest look smaller than it already is; I suspect a woman with a larger cup size might not have been comfortable wearing at all. Fabric bags a bit at the hips despite all other portions of it fitting perfectly. Much more of a mint green than it appears in the photo.

Wore with the Pink Madeline Gown and it made the whole outfit pop and make a statement without being overwhelming. The only caveat: it's a very solid necklace and if you're jumping up and down while dancing a lot, it does tend to fly up and hit you in the face :) Probably better for more physically sedate events.
