Bad pic great dress
The Donna Morgan was not my typical style but I loved it. Light material but long sleeved and it worked as a maxi for a petite no problem ! It was flattering despite how this pic looks! I almost bought it and still might.

I enjoyed this dress! It fit well, maybe a smidge on the large size. I don't know why I thought it would be a midi on me. It was pretty much a ballgown with pockets. But I embraced my inner Carrie Bradshaw and wore it to lunch! In New Orleans, the Fridays before things like Halloween, Christmas, Mardi Gras our full day extravaganzas-I got home after dark, but remembered to snap a full length pic for y'all!

Didn't work for me sadly
I had high hopes for this one. Great color and the photo made me think the top would b stretchy. Nope. The skirt is like an 80s acetate satin tho it looked nice . The top had no stretch so I couldn't move my arms well without ruining the off the shoulder look. It was tight in the chest loose in the waist and so long that this midi was longer than most maxis-so had to wear stilts. Aka 5" heels.

Fun but unflattering
So this dress was super un -flattering and ran a little big as the brand tends to. It fit the attire request for sparkle though!! It's something to do with how the layers of the dress rest on top of each other. It bunched up in an odd way, and instead of accentuating my waist it kind of hid it. it was hard to find anything with sequence available when I did my swap, and this was the best option. I can't say I would recommend it, and the reviews are kind of meh so I should have known. I did get a "that's a fire dress."from one of the kids. But I think that was just about the sparkles.

No stretch
Wore these jeans out to dinner with a friend and they are fine but not great. No stretch at all and I guess I am used to the softness of stretch even though they were a little big. The proportions were also weird but to be expected since they are cropped and I rented them to be full length on my 5' self (they were). Not barrel and not boyfriend but I couldn't say what they are... 🤪

Not a great photo but the only one I got wearing this skirt this evening! Ran a bit big so I pulled it down to my hips. Edging towards plum from burgundy I liked the color and style details but found the tapered skirt difficult to walk in....that could be a short person problem.

Cute but tight bust
I wore this dress to a friend's birthday last night at a casual spot. It's not my usual style, but I thought it was cute from the pictures. I got a lot of compliments, and I loved the color! It was a little tight in the back and the bust and around the arms. Sizing up might have been weird every where else. Sadly it was itchy!! I need to go back and look at other reviews to see what other people thought or I was the only itchy one!

Great season transition piece
This Farm Rio was definitely a little big, but I loved it!Especially compared to the itchy dress I wore the night before this was super comfortable, and I thought it just escaped being overwhelming fabric wise. A true maxi on me at 5'.

For tall people!
This ALC. I knew it would be long but even with 5.5 inch heel it was too long and a little on the big side. I also hoped the color would be richer. It was interesting and flattering though- so if you are taller than I am -and who isn't ans you like a brown sort of burgundy this is worth a shot! Ugh

Afrmis always hit for me -even though it's not a super expensive brand it stands up well to rentals and always fits great. This dress would be short on a taller person, but on me I felt very comfortable. I prefer their boulder patterns, but I was still happy to rent this.

Maxi for petites
Not a great pic but I liked this one. A true maxi at 5' tall I would have liked it to be more curve hugging. The straps are adjustable or started out that way but no longer are which was annoying but loved the details at the bottom. I also appreciate that this would have been better with the purse I styled it with and at the happy hour I started with -!

Normally crop jeans like this or full length to long on me at 5 feet tall. These were great with sandals, but seems slightly cropped and odd with boots fit great and cute on the butt.

I love this dress. It fit like a glove, that tons of compliments! It did appear closer to navy because it's a little washed. Otherwise five stars for me. That's sad. We should be aware that the white eyelet on the bottom doesn't have lining so it feels shorter in real life. That didn't bother me because I'm so short it wasn't that short on me!

Stand out dress! Fabric heavier than it appears
I loved everything about this dress, the fabrication that asymmetry, etc. However, the fabric is quite heavy. I was OK with it, but I think if you're sensitive to heat and it's somewhere where you are, you might not be.
