This dress was perfect for my engagement party! I wore a chunky multi-strand pearl necklace from J Crew and it went perfect. I usually wear a 6, but I ended up wearing the 8 because I couldnt lift my arms above my head. This might be because I have a very large bust. Either way this dress was great.

I wore this to an engagement shower and I got a lot of compliments. I did feel that the dress was a little longer than expected, but I was able to keep it ruched up. Horizontal stripes are not always flattering but the ruching helped. When I look back at pictures I think it made me look a little wide. It is definitely not a dressy dress but good for a "going out" outfit.
