I loved this dress - wore it at a big house party - but the silhouette was fancy enough that I could have dressed it up for a different occasion. I wore it with Tory Burch flats and minimal jewelry to keep it simple for the casual occasion. Since I am 3 months pregnant, I sized up. Normally, I think this dress would have fit me true to size or even fit just slightly small.

I rented this dress for an October wedding in Canada. It was perfect for the season and the sleeves kept me warm enough. I think the color was slightly brighter than pictured. It photographed well and the fabric was very nice and had some stretch to it. Thinking that this size has run tight on my hips in the past, I wore the 8 without even trying on the 6. With a smaller chest, the dress was a bit big on the top and gaped a little in the lacy back. I also kept having to readjust the chest (since it was too big the lining underneath kept rolling out and was visible). So after wearing it, I would say that it actually ran "true to size" and that I should have worn the 6 instead...but with the give of the fabric, I could wear either size. Overall, it was a great dress.

The only problem was that the backs of the earrings felt a little loose to me, so I when I wore them, I swapped out tighter backings I had from another pair of earrings. I loved this dress and wore it to my friend's summer outdoor wedding! Like another reviewer pointed out, it is more of a light lilac color than a pink. The lace is thick and structured and I was able to wear the dress without a bra and didn't have to worry about the see-through back. The dress was also very short (I'm 5/7), but since the material was thick and structured, there was no concern about the dress pulling up further when walking,etc. It was a great rental!

I was sent this dress is a replacement dress for my engagement party. It was my first time needing something overnighted and rtr customer service was amazing. I wore this dress to an outdoor/indoor October wedding. Wore with grey shoes, a grey/purple pashmina, and rtr earrings. Pros: The dress had great sturdy fabric and a very pretty pattern. The colors were rich. I thought the cut of the dress was flattering; I loved the one sided peplum! Cons: The dress did run a little small in the hips. I went with the larger size and felt the dress was still a little constricting (no give in the fabric). I could see why some others have worn a belt to cinch on their waist; there seemed to be a little extra fabric in that area due to sizing up for my hips.

I liked the trendy color and hemline of this dress. The cut of the dress at the chest was not the most flattering. I ordered a size 6L (size 4R and 6R were unavailable, which would have been my first choice)...I am 5'7 and even with super-high heels I wished the regular length had been available... I had to be careful not to trip when walking. The dress was also too big and it made my waistline look bigger due to the baggy extra fabric. I was able to use double sided fabric tape to attach the extra fabric tighter to my waist, but overall I would have sized down to 4R if it was available.

I was obsessed with the color of this dress when I took it out of the box! It is NEON. Weight of the dress made it perfect for an outdoor summer wedding. I wore it with tiny gold earrings and gold/nude shoes to an outdoor tent wedding. Originally thought I would wear a necklace with it but skipped the necklace because the color of the dress was a statement enough. I didn't find much difference between the fit of the 6 and 8. I actually liked the fit of the 6 better in the top and middle, but because the chiffon was slightly more fitted in the bottom than the 8, the material above it poofed out to look unflattering in the stomach. The 8 actually did the same thing. A 10 may have looked better in the legs, but wouldn't have fit me in the top. I actually really didn't notice a problem with the cut in person; I just noticed the "poofing" in pictures.

The dress really is gorgeous. I would love to own this one!! I wore it with nude shoes, gold bracelets, and a gold/pearl necklace. Despite the dress having stretchy material, the cut was flattering and the dress was very professional/appropriate to wear both as a teacher at my students' graduation and as a Godparent at a Baptism. I wanted to wear the 8, but it arrived with a stain on it. Since I still needed an outfit for the weekend, after talking with RtR, I chose to squeeze into the 6 (with spanx). The 6 had more of a "pulled" look in the thighs & tighter fit in the butt that I was nervous would not look appropriate for my events... but the dress cut & fabric were classy enough to pull off a tighter fit. (Note- after many rentals this is the first time this had happened ...and RtR was great about it! I sent in the garment pictures immediately and received a response within minutes)

I rented this for Easter weekend. Was hoping to wear it out at night for dinner with friends, but felt it was more of a "day dress" than a "going out dress" so ended up wearing on Easter Day instead. Paired it with casual tan/natural colored Tory burch espadrilles and a tan Jcrew cardigan and gold necklace. If I ordered again, I would probably order a necklace from RTR because the dress definitely needs a necklace and I wasn't loving the options I had in my closet. Pros: Liked the nautical feel of the navy and white pattern. Fabric is good quality and has a very light feel to it. High neck and longer length made it conservative (which could be a pro or con depending on your event). Cons: It definitely was more of a day dress (in my opinion) which isn't necessarily a "con" but something to consider. Was nervous that the cut (tight in waist and then flaring out) might be unflattering but it was fine. I wore the smaller of the two sizes that I had ordered.

I rented the dress (and necklace) for a March baby shower and paired with gold shoes and gold belt. Liked it without the belt just as much. ...fit was great and the dress was very comfortable - soft material and no zipper. Was concerned about the length possibly being too short, but it was just perfect (mid thigh).... I just had to be careful lifting my arms/bending because the dress did pull up (normal for shift dresses, though). No complaints at all. Loved it and wish I owned it!

I rented this to wear to a reunion but ended up wearing it for a casual thanksgiving day with family. I didn't love the fit of the dress, but did love the pattern...(see more below)... so I ended up wearing it with all black cardigan, belt, stockings, and flats. The dress ran true to size...I sized up to try to see if the cut would be better in the larger size, but it didn't make a difference. Pros: LOVED the pattern of the fabric, the quality of the dress, the sheen; striking in person. Con: The way the dress fell (with the pockets and cut) caused it to poof out slightly at the hips more than I wanted. I felt that adding a belt and a cardigan broke this up visually and was comfortable and happy wearing it. Unfortunately, with all the layering, the outfit didn't work for the intended occasion. Overall, I really liked the dress and would order again for the right function!

I loved the bright red color for this lace dress. Wore it with black pumps, black/leopard clutch, and silver RtR earrings for a september wedding. The lace was delicate but sturdy with the satin lining and boning of the dress. The cut of the back was fun! Note that the back is cut low and wide, so most likely you need to wear a strapless or stick on bra.

Great color, fabric, and cut for an outdoor summer wedding. I ordered a 4 and 6 in this dress and went with the 6. Dress runs pretty true to size... but keep in mind that the fabric does not have any "give" to it (65% cotton 35% silk). Dress came slightly wrinkled in the bag, but looked perfect with a little low heat "silk setting" from a good quality iron. Wore with nude shoes, light yellow/gold earrings, and nude clutch.

Wore it with black/diamond shoes and earrings. Looking at the other photos the dress color seems to look darker in many of the shots...but it was more of a deep rich purple that photographed brighter with a flash!
