Amazing statement piece

The dress needed some work to look good.
The ruching at the waist started too high (at the bottom of my breasts) and the v neck sat way too high. I’ve always found myself to be rather short torso’d but this dress was not cut for any woman above a petite torso. I managed to save the dress with a red leather corset but it was going right back if I didn’t have it handy.

Tight fit for long torsos
It's absolutely gorgeous in person and can go seamlessly from work to dinner. My only caveat is that it's a bit short in the torso and may be uncomfortable for taller torso women. Thankfully it fits me, but just barely.
