New take on the LBD...little BLUE dress!
Celebrated my 30th birthday in this hot little blue number! I knew I'd love the bold blue color, and it would be phenomenal in photos. And it sure didn't disappoint! The color - rich, the fabric - sturdy...no need to worry about VPL or finding the perfect bra. My only hesitation throughout the night was more personal comfort level of length. I'm 5'8" and found the size 10 (the larger of the two sizes I ordered) to be barely skirting the line of being too short. I knew I'd be moving and dancing throughout the night, and though a size 12 would have given a bit more length, the overall fit would have been too large. In most RTR dresses, I wear a 6 or 8 - but based on reviews by women with similar bust sizes...and, who are we kidding, also appeared to have a little junk In the trunk like me (thanks, ladies, for helping me out!)...I ordered the 8 and 10. Would I recommend this dress? Absolutely. Would I suggest considering the amount of movement your occasion calls for? Most definitely. It may have been a little short, but I kicked my 30s off on a pretty sexy note if I do say so myself! : )

LOCK IT UP, LADIES!
Rented a dress for a wedding with slits on the leg. Not wanting my own Angelina moment, I made the purchase for the Fashion Tape. SO. GLAD. I. DID. The slits were higher than the model pictured led me to believe, so a tiny piece of the tape was perfect for locking up my nether regions for being on display for the wedding party. The dress was amazing, and I was able to feel equally as amazing without fearing any wardrobe malfunctions.

How can you NOT feel sexy in an Hervé Léger?!
Ladies, ladies, ladies...if there is a bucket list of fashion moments, I have experienced one of mine! A group of friends planned a birthday weekend in Vegas, and I KNEW I needed to rent Hérve Léger for this occasion! PROS: 1) Showed off my curves without showing everything the good Lord gave me. 2) No need for SPANXX when you're wearing this dress, but I'm sure wearing them wouldn't hurt the cause either! 3) It's strapless, but there's extra support inside the dress to help keep all your assets in place. 4) Such vibrant colors on the dress that you can go either simple or punchy with accessories and footwear. 5) Don't get me started on the number of heads I turned all night! CONS: Honestly, none that I can recall. It was a fabulous dress, and I would rent another by the same designer in a heartbeat. SIZE: True to size. Wore the M, and it was perfection. S would have been just a little snug on my chest and bum, but the L wouldn't have hugged my body the way this dress is meant to do. If you have curves, FEAR NOT & RENT THIS DRESS.

Classy + sexy had a dress baby, and this was it!
Ladies, if you're looking for a great dress...this navy sequin number by Tibi is your answer. Wore it for my 29th birthday shindig and received so many compliments! It was just the right amount of sexiness to say "yeah, I am, but I didn't try THAT hard to be." I'm 5'8", 36D, and let's get real...mama's got some junk in the trunk, so I was slightly nervous about overall fit and length of the dress...went with the size M, and it was perfect! Paired it with a nude ankle strap heel from ALDO and wore a backless strapless bra by recommendation of precious RTR reviews. The dress was absolutely comfortable, and I loved the navy color - looks great in person and in photos. Spent the evening at dinner, drinks, and dancing - no problems throughout the night! I could see where other options could be to have a POC in your heels or jewelry if you're hair is up, too. If this dress isn't already in your shopping cart, you better put it there NOW. : )

I wore the dress to a NYE masquerade ball, and it was AH-MAH-ZING!! The fit is spot-on! I went true to size. I'm 5'8" and planned to wear a 3 or 4" heel, so I thought I would need the 8L length (my back up size was 10R in case Badgley Mischka wasn't used to fitting a girl with some curves!) - but the 8R would have probably been a little bit better. It's absolutely comfortable, and I sometimes forgot I was wearing a formal dress with how easy it was to wear. I would definitely recommend this gown or any of the other similar Badgley Mischka dresses!

I loved knowing that by using RTR for the night, I could rock a unique look no one else would have!
Based on previous reviews, I decided to go with the LONG length option for both sizes sent to me, since I would be wearing a higher heel with the dress. I'm 5'8", and the 8L was the perfect length to skim the floor but not get tripped up in fabric! I purchased the double-stick tape in case the top was a little too loose (another review tip) and actually wound up using it because I had NO CLUE there were TWO SLITS running up the front of the dress! Holy upper thigh! Two quick pieces of tape later, and I was totally presentable for a wedding, while still maintaining the concept of the double slit (just a little less "DAAAAANG, GINA!"). I received many compliments on the dress, raved about RTR, and encouraged all my friends to use it for their next event! Loved the dress!
