Fit me a little too tightly
Too tight to wear to work which was what I wanted to rent it for.

Beautiful pattern
It's really a nice intarsia pattern. The quality is pretty good - for the thinness of the fabric, it's pretty warm. I wore it on a spring-y day with a light coat and black pants, and also with jeans.

A little smaller than expected
I was going to wear it to work, but I ended up not wearing it because it was a tick too tight and it made me look unsupported and unstructured up top. The pattern and quality is lovely. I'd be afraid if I got a larger size the V-neck would be too low, but that's easy enough to fix with a shell of some kind.

Professional but fun
Loved the cut and pattern. Doesn't breathe very much, but otherwise a lovely blouse. I probably would have worn a larger size (was a tiny bit gappy) but I got away with it.

Really cute, did nothing for my shape
Rented this for a New Orleans wedding. I loved the asymmetrical hem and the ruffles, and the neckline was surprisingly not too low for me (I'm fairly conservative). That said, the shape did nothing for me. It really didn't highlight the waist at all, and I'm pear shaped and so I need it. Ended up looking too sack-like, so I wore something else.

Gorgeous spring-summer dress
I rented this for my friend's wedding on a boat. The dress is not super-formal, but it's not casual either, so it hit the perfect middle cocktail ground with spring-summer flair. Height-wise, I'm at 5'7", and I wore 2.75" wedges, and the 8L was perfectly at the ground. This dress fit me perfectly at my waist, and had enough space to fit the hips too. That said, because I'm pear-shaped, in this dress the front V is deep as heck. I had to fashion tape it together, otherwise one would have seen the band of my bra. But that was easily done, and I gently removed it at the end of the night without any damage. The skirt is heavier than I expected, thanks to the lining fabric, but it wasn't difficult to maneuver in. People told me how lovely I looked and that they loved the dress, too. It was very high quality. I'd rent it again!

Beautiful, beautiful dress
I'm in between the height requirements for the dresses - I'm 5'6.75". So I rented the long, and figured with the extra height from my 4.5" heels I'd be fine. Not so. I still had a tiny train and of course I was paranoid about that. The built-in corset was clutch. I also wore some extra-strength Spanx underneath - it's the type that goes up to just under one's bra, and it wasn't visible at all. I will say, I got some hips, and with the corset and Spanx and tight, I felt like I could not breathe. I felt like I could have gone with the 8. But everyone assured me I looked fine in the 6 and should wear it, and I definitely could move. (I didn't rent the 8 as my backup. S-M-R-T) People came up to me and complimented the dress so much. (whether that's the dress wearing me, or just that I looked awesome and the dress was great too, you decide) It's really just as lovely in person as it is online.

This dress is a beautiful shocking pink. There is a little crinoline in the skirt that exaggerates the shape a tiny bit and draws attention to the waist. I could see this giving hips to a less hippy woman than I am. It would also look lovely with a belt to narrow the waist even further. I never felt like the dress was going to fall down. I will say it was a tiny bit too long - I wore it with 3.5" heels. I felt like I had a little train but it wasn't bothersome. The bride said I looked like a movie star and I felt it. There was some wear and tear on the dress but it wasn't too obvious with a casual glance. I can understand why, anyway - this must be an incredibly popular dress. A life lesson - I tried this on at home without Spanx and was just a smidge too large for the 8L. I traveled five hours, leaving the 8L at home (it's a heavy dress to carry with my weak arms), and when I wore the 10L with Spanx, it was just a little too large. So check your fit with Spanx on - it's quite fitted through the bodice. Overall - I really wish this were my own dress, and that I lived a life that required me to wear this dress all the time.

Gorgeous color, conservative in best way, watch the hips
I wore this for a bridal shower. The dress is a little more iridescent or shimmery in person - it made it a little too formal for the occasion but I put a black cardigan over it and it looked less formal. I really loved it and the color/shimmer popped on my medium-dark skin. It fit everywhere but my hips - I'm definitely a pear and it was very, very tight there. I could sit, but I felt like the skirt was awkwardly tight and stretched. My brutally honest sister didn't mention that it looked bad, though, so take that as you will. If I owned it I'd probably go up a size and tailor the top down. But as I can't - nice!

Gorgeous fun party dress!
This dress was so pretty and fun. The 6 wasn't available as a backup size so I got the 8. I think I could have gone down to the 6 but it would have been a wee bit tight. My chest is larger than I realized I guess! The dress is great because it plays up my waist and minimizes the rear. I could see this also looking good on girls who have less pronounced hips than me. Plus I loved the corset on the inside that kept everything in place. I had minor fears that it would slip down but no slip. Just a note - the zippers were weirdly sticky on both sizes, both on and off of me, so be careful!

fun party dress
Dress fits perfectly to size chart. Unfortunately I'm more pear-shaped than hourglass so it was somewhat loose up top - I had to tape that bad boy down. In addition, because I'm smaller in the chest area the slip kept hanging below the hem of the dress and was visible. I taped that up too. Color is a little pinker than the picture shows - but only a little. It came to about 2 inches above my knee. Rented this for NYE - everyone said I looked so gorgeous in it! Highly recommended for girls who are a little more evenly proportioned - but even girls like me can do in a pinch with the fashion tape they provide.
