Beautiful dress with a great fit
I wore this dress to two different important meetings, and received plenty of compliments. 3.1 Philip Lim is wonderfully consistent on size, so the 10 fit like a glove just like his other dresses I’ve rented.

The print is gorgeous, although the fabric is a little more casual than it looks from the pictures. I needed someone else to tie the straps - otherwise I simply couldn’t work it on my own. Very large but worked out!

Tough fit
I rented this for a special occasion, and unfortunately neither the M nor the L fit so I couldn’t wear it. The cups were not flattering - maybe you need a bigger bust? Also, the material is not as dressy as it looked in the pictures. Disappointing.

Looked like a prison jumpsuit
Dress has very little stretch, and I needed to size up. No faking it in this dress as it rises up if too tight on hips. I actually like both red and orange on me normally, but my husband and I agreed it looked like a prison jumpsuit in color.

Other reviews are correct that the straps are long, but the bodice is tight enough that I could size up to the large (I go between a medium and large), and it worked fine. Absolutely beautiful dress!

I go between a medium and large, and really wanted to wear this dress so ignore the other reviews. Mistake! I’m fairly tall with a long torso, but the large hung on me and was not wearable. Definitely size down like others say!

My favorite rental yet! Wore to both a festival and a casual party, and holding on to it for another month. So flattering on - very slimming. I will say that I have a smaller chest, and the dress worked perfectly without a bra for me. Probably trickier if you’re working with more, as it would be tough to wear a bra.
