This dress definitely runs small. I am a solid size 8 in almost every RTR designer. I could fit into the 8, but it was tight in the rib cage and armpit area. 10 fit much better though a tiny bit big by the chest area, but my padded strapless bra filled in the space perfectly. The dress fabric and pattern is beautiful and very spring/summery. I loved the off the shoulder look. The dress was very comfortable to dance and move around in. I paired it with nude heels and pink and silver jewelry. I received several compliments on the dress. I highly recommend this dress.

I am the Co-Class Advisor for my school's junior class. I rented this dress for our Hollywood themed prom. The 6L fit perfect and the length worked well with my 3 inch heels and flat sandals (I'm 5 feet 8.5 inches). I did wear Spanx. I could have gotten away without them, but I didn't want to be self conscious after I ate a big meal. The dress is definitely super form fitting, showing off every curve, but it has stretch and was very easy to move around and dance in. I was able to wear a regular strapless bra with no problems. I felt like a walking Oscar statue and my students complimented me and told me I "slayed" in my gown...which translates to awesome!

This dress was absolute perfection. I put it on at 10am and did not take it off until 2am...I loved it so much I wanted to sleep in it. I wore it with a black demi-cut Wonder Bra to give my small breasts some lift (the dress hide the bra straps well). The 6L fit my body perfectly. The fabric has a little stretch but it also held in everything so I felt like I looked smooth and sleek. The dress is beautifully made, comfortable and very classy. I felt elegant and sexy at the same time. I received compliments all night. I wore black strappy heels and paired the dress with Nicole Miller accessories (Souther Plantation earrings and Star Light Star Bright bracelet) and a gold clutch. I am almost 5'9" and I wore 3" heels and the dress just grazed the floor with a little bit of my toes popping out. So if you are taller than 5'9" you might have to wear kitten heels if you want the dress to graze the floor.

I absolutely loved this gorgeous Trina Turk party dress. I wore it clubbing out in Montreal for my sister-in-law's bachelorette party. I paired it with gold platform heels, a gold cuff bracelet, black/gold beaded earrings, and a black clutch. This dress is super comfortable. I wore a nude strapless bra and was able to dance all night. I got stopped every 5 minutes by men and women complimenting me on my sparkly dress. A great dress for dancing in. I wished it came in other colors. I would definitely rent this dress again. I recently lost 13 pounds and was out with women who were 15-20 years younger than me, so this dress was definitely a HUGE ego boost. I felt sexy all night. The dress had a slight tear on the seam and a few sequins missing. RTR offered to send me another dress, but it was too late as I was flying out to my destination, so instead they offered me a coupon code for a discount on the next dress that I ordered, which was very nice of them.

Size 6 on this dress fit me perfectly. The straps are adjustable. I wore the dress with a nude, strapless bra. The dress was incredibly comfortable. I wore it to my Brother-in-Law's rehearsal dinner. I received multiple compliments throughout the evening. The dress has just the right blend of class and sexy. I had originally ordered another dress for one of two nights out for my sister-in-law's bachelorette party in Montreal but my original dress became unavailable last minute and RTR was kind enough to ship me this dress overnight. The size 8 of this dress arrived but was a tad big. I had just lost 13 pounds and didn't realize that I actually fit into a 6. I was a bit panicked, by the time I got home from work and tried on the dress it was 5pm and I was flying out the next afternoon for Montreal. I called RTR and since the size 8 didn't fit they agreed to overnight me a size 6 for just $12.95. Thankfully the dress arrived 2 hours before I left for the airport. The dress if very fitted, but has a little stretch. I wore a Wonder Bra, which helped to fill in the chest since I am small chested. I had great cleavage that was very sexy, but still classy. The straps were a tiny bit loose, but they had little snaps to snap in your bra straps, so with the help of some strategically placed safety pins and fashion tape I was able to cover the bra straps and the strap across my back. A strapless, push-up bra with a low back would have worked event better or if you have a size C or bigger breasts then you probably wouldn't need a bra at all. I will say that when the dress arrived the strap area was wrinkled in a weird way (this is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5), but fortunately I was able to have a local dry cleaner press/steam it for me and that fixed the problem. I felt sexy and comfortable in the dress all night. I would say that it was a little longer than I typically like for going out dancing, but I just hiked it up a bit when I was going crazy on the dance floor. Great RTR customer service. I love Nicole Miller dresses and would highly recommend this one.

I had been eyeing this dress for months, but I had not rented it. I had reserved another dress for a late August outdoor wedding, but received an email 3 weeks prior from RTR stating that the original dress I rented was no longer available in my size (8). They told me to go on their site and pick another dress. I called and immediately requested this stunning Matthew Williamson dress, which was available in a size UK 14 (US size 8). The customer service was impeccable and I felt very taken care of. I reserved it along with the size UK 16 (US size 10) as my backup size as the customer reviews had mentioned that the dress ran small. Even though I am usually a solid US size 8, this dress in the size 8 ran a tad big around my torso. I am a small 36B and had I had size C or D cups breasts I am sure the dress would have fit me perfectly. Fortunately I had a strapless bra, which filled in the chest area some more and then fashion tape under my arm pits, on my shoulder and across the back and front line of the dress kept it in place and made the slightly big size work for me. The upside to it being a little bigger is it was very comfortable and I had plenty of room to eat. The dress itself is a total show stopper. In fact I just saw a fashion layout with this dress in the July/August 2015 issue of Elle Decor Magazine. I received many compliments. The train flows like a dream and was so much fun to walk and dance in. I felt like I was on a runway. The fabric (100% silk) is incredibly soft. Since it was an outdoor wedding on grass I wore solid black wedge heels. At 5'8.5" tall with 3.5" wedge heels the train just barely grazed the ground. I paired it with gold earrings, a gold cuff bracelet and vintage gold clutch. I absolutely adore the designer, Matthew Williamson, and will definitely be renting other dresses of for upcoming events. Now I know to rent a UK 14 (US 8) and then a size down UK 12 (US 6) on my next rental, so I won't have the same issue.

I wore this dress to my Brother-in-Law's outdoor engagement party. 8 fit me perfectly. I could have worn the 6, but it felt too tight across my chest (I'm a 36B). Dress was very wrinkled out of the bag, so my local dry cleaner steamed it for me as I had built in an extra day before the party. Steamed beautifully. Dress was comfortable and flattering. The colors are gorgeous. I wore a seamless racerback nude bra and it was perfect. My only frustration was this dress was a STAIN MAGNET. Every drop of liquid (including water and seltzer) left stains on the dress...so I wouldn't recommend this if you are going to be doing a lot of drinking and eating, especially if you aren't sitting at a table (i.e. Cocktail hour). Great for dancing and taking photographes. I paired the dress with gold wedge heels, wide brimmed sunhat, gold beaded cuff bracelet, and peach/orange and gold costume jewelry earrings. I received many compliments and I felt very ladylike in it.

This dress was gorgeous. The fabric is light and airy and flowed beautifully. I am 5 feet 8.5 inches tall. I wore 2.5 inch heels and the 8L just grazed the floor. The chest area is fitted with no room for stretch, but the 8L fit me like a glove. I put my own bra cups in it as the foam bra cups the dress came with were flimsy, but other than that it was perfect. My husband had to zip up the dress for me but once I was in it I was totally comfortable and I didn't have to pull it up all night (I typically were a 36 B bra and the chest area couldn't have fit me better). It is the unique shoulder strap that really made the dress stand out. I was comfortable walking, eating, and dancing in this dress all night. I'm sad to send it back. I received many, many compliments (I was told I looked like a Greek Goddess of the night sky). I paired it with a gold beaded cuff bracelet, a long gold ring with moonstones, gold drop hoop earrings with moonstones, gold strappy heals, and a vintage gold clutch. Highly recommend!

I rented this for my friend's bachelorette party. I received a size 8 and a size 6. I usually wear a size 8 and wanted to order a 10 as my back up size, but it wasn't available. The size 8 sheath fit perfectly, but both the size 6 and 8 sheaths came with size P (petite?) turquoise slip dresses. I couldn't even put the slip dress on my body...not over my head, nor stepping into it (even with the zipper zipped all the way down). Luckily I owned a nude colored slip dress that fit perfectly underneath the sheath. I called RTR and told them that I was sent two petite size slip dresses and there was no way a petite slip dress should be paired with a size 8 sheath dress. They were super understanding and apologetic. I was refunded for 50% of my rental cost (since I still ended up wearing 1/2 the dress). The sheath was such fun to wear. It was comfortable and easy to dance in. It is definitely on the shorter side when you sit down, but I was in a club and most of the time I was up and dancing. I got compliments on the dress all night. Strangers were coming up to me and asking me where I got it. I felt like a walking advertisement for RTR. I felt like a rock star. I already rented my second RTR dress for a wedding in August and plan to rent several more times for future events. Their customer service is friendly, helpful and very professional.
