Not a great fit for ANYONE who would consider herself tall. I had both the 44 and 42 (both in Long) and they were 3-5inches too short. I even attempted it with flats and my ankles still showed. Unfortunate, because the bodice fit was perfect in the 42, and the dress is as stunning in person as the pictures indicate.

I'm have a tall, anthletic body type. I ordered the dress in a 4L, the length was great (even with 3inch heels for me which is amazing!) but the banding around the rib cage was WAY too tight. Fit through the hips, waist, etc but just not around the ribs.

I should have read the recent reviews before! I ordered in a 4L and 6L (I'm 5'9" and had 2-3in. heels). The 4L was FAR too short, I wouldn't have been able to wear it even with flats. I was forced into the 6L - which was very baggy around the corset/bodice and in HORRIBLE SHAPE. The color was faded to a grayish pink, not the gorgeous light pink as shown that the 4L was, there were threads from the fabric fraying off, and there was a very noticable patch/sewing seam in the back where the dress had been ripped over the bottom-region. All in all the condition of the dress in 6L, and the 4L length forced me to go buy my own formal dress at last minute. So unfortunate.
