This dress is so nice, it got worn twice! Fit true to size: I am 5’4, 130 lbs, and wore the SR with 3 inch heels. Loved that I was able to make the straps tighter to adjust the fit in the chest. Would rent again!

It fit, but I thought was unflattering
This dress was comfortable, and it did fit, however the top part, in my opinion was very unflattering. I had rented this for my baby shower, and not only could I not really wear a good bra with it to (maybe?) provide some definition, but the top part of the dress, I think, gave me a total mono-boob - just one boob going across my body. Granted, it's hard for me to feel good right now in *anything* I wear (I'm 8 months pregnant), but I did have high hopes for this. Didn't end up wearing. If you're like me, and your breasts grew three times their normal size in pregnancy, maybe this dress isn't for you.

Thought it would work with a baby bump: it did not
I thought that I'd be able to wear this to my baby shower. I'm 8 months pregnant, and this is totally my own fault, but the torso didn't fit at all, couldn't even zip it. I was super bummed because it was really cute. Maybe when the belly goes down I'll find another reason to rent this one.

Super comfortable, and POCKETS!
I'm about five-ish months pregnant and this dress was SUPER comfortable and fun to wear. I went a size up given that I'm not 100 percent sure what size I should be wearing at this point, I'm 5'4, 135 lbs, with a good bump going on, and the 4R I thought was a touch too big - the straps kept falling. Not a deal breaker though. I'd rent this again in a heartbeat. Color is amazing, too!

There wasn't a whole lot of give in this dress but the 2 fit me perfectly. Came up to a good length for a Sweet 16 and didn't show too much on top, but was still super fun. Good price, good fit. Would definitely rent again!

Very classy, tons of compliments!
As the last single (straight) girl in my family, it's super important that I look nice at weddings to show that hey, I'm doing just fine without a wee rock on my ring finger. So I rented this dress for my cousins wedding and it was a stunner. Super classy and just a little bit sexy with the cut out on the back. Compliments galore from the family, but the reason I gave this four stars is that I couldn't wear a bra (luckily I'm not so well endowed that this was a problem) so bustier gals might have some issues, and by the end of the night I had to keep my arms away from my body as the beading was starting to chafe. Runs true to size and fell to just below my knees. Thank you RTR, for keeping the pity eyes at bay, and helping to show my family how fabulous I can be!

Got this as a "surprise bling" item. I wore it with my dress even though it wasn't something I might pick out for myself. Nice and basic. You won't regret renting, but then again, you might want more of a statement.

Perfect for a black tie gala dinner
Wore this for a gala dinner in NYC where I knew the crowd was a bit older and more conservative. Perfect for the event: it was comfortable to walk, sit and eat in. Was seated most of the time wearing this. Didn't make too much of a statement but that's what I was going for. I will say about the length: I ordered the 2L and the 4R. I was worried about the length of the 2L but it was perfect. The 4R barely touched my ankles! I'm not super tall so I don't know how gals with height might wear this. Zipper at the waist was a little bulky (as you see in the photo). Worked for me overall and, as always, great customer service from RTR!

Awesome dress, too bad I didn't get to wear it.
I'm normally at size 2 and I did not heed the warnings that this dress runs small and the bodice has ZERO give. I was really sad that it didn't work out as it would have been perfect for my cousin's wedding. Might try renting again in a bigger size for another event.

I have nothing, absolutely nothing, bad to say about this dress. Fit like a glove. The cut out was just sexy enough to make a wee statement but not overdone. Length was great. Dress moved perfectly. Everyone was complimenting me on how well it looked. Do not hesitate to rent this. I will certainly be re-renting for another event.

Lovely, but too short for me
I rented this to wear for a St. Patrick's Day event but while it fit for the most part everywhere, it ran a bit short. I like for dresses to just skim the floor with 3 inch heels, and this dress showed a bit too much foot. Didn't end up wearing it in the end but I would have another go another time and try a different size.

Perfect for a sophisticated St. Patrick's Day gala!
First thing, getting this dress was an odyssey. UPS had an order delay and if it had not been for Jessica at RTR it would have never gotten to me. She's a star. She deserves a raise :) But when the dress came - it was gorgeous - the zipper was a nightmare. It was slightly ripped from the hem of the dress and wouldn't zip up. Since it had to be delivered to my dad's office - it was close to my event - I had to do the unthinkable and ask my dad for help zipping it. After tears and a hysterically bellowed "I'M JUST NOT GOING TO GO!" I regained my composure and was able to zip most of it and fashion tape the rest. Luckily I had a sash to cover the open bit. Tons of unnecessary drama getting and wearing it, but, I have to say, worth it. The faint hint of green and gold in the black lace at the top was perfect for my event. The skirt was comfortable and airy - perfect for Irish dancing. I would usually wear a 2R but I went with a 2L because a previous reviewer said the skirt just touched the floor and she was an inch shorter than me. I'm 5'4 and wore 3" heels and the 2L was just a tad long, but the 2R would have been too short for sure. Worth the rent if they take this dress and re-do all the zippers. If there was one reason I wouldn't rent this dress again it would be that. Customer service was TOP NOTCH, though. Seriously, RTR, Jessica for President.

Renter Beware: VERY short.
I rented this for a birthday party and usually I'm a 2, but I ignored the reviews that it would be short thinking that I'm too too tall, so it should be fine. Nope... way too short. One size larger would have been better. Great dress, great style, just rent a size up.

Cute, but not really for me.
I rented this for a fancy date for my boyfriend's birthday and it wasn't really for me. It ran true to size the bust but the lenght was a little too long for me. Plus, the fabric is totally different in person. Not shiny and you can't really see the pattern.

Perfect for an Irish community fundraiser!
I wore this dress as the host of an Irish community fundraiser and it was PERFECT. The size was great, the color was a deep, beautiful green and the fit was great. It showed off my body without being too sexy, which is what I wanted (and what was appropriate). My only gripe was that they zipper on the side was too stiff for the light fabric of the dress and so it made the dress stick out weird on one side. But, it wasn't a big enough issue to stop me from wearing and loving this. Will certinaly rent this again - perhaps around St. Patrick's Day!
